In Dagurreo, talk to a man in the library that is looking for the 'Magical Fingertip'. Go to Treno and buy, Doga's Artifact Une's Mirror Rat'sTail Griffin's Heart Sell Doga's Artifact to a philosopher in Treno Synthesis Shop, take his first offer. Sell Une's Mirror to a fat noble walking outside the mini stalls, take his second offer. Sell the Rat's Tail and Griffin's Heart to an adventurer that is dressed as a red mage. Sell them for the highest price he'll go.
Now return to Treno Auction House and you should be able to bid on the 'Magical Fingertip'. Once you have take it back to the man in Dagurreo and he will exchange it for Excalibur.
