History of the Air Command
The Air Command II is the sequel to the Air Command. The original Air Command was a part of the Decepticon Command in the West Sector.
The Decepticon Command was led by Ops Cmdr Shockray.
Skywarp was
his
Air Commander, but Warp was an ineffective leader who mistreated his troops. At the time, Starcrosser was one of them. Starcrosser formed his own
band of warriors within the AC, calling them the Puddincons. The Puddincons eventually became Shockray's primary fighting force.
Starcrosser stole Skywarp's mate, Milena, and terminated Skywarp, with silent permission from Shockray. Skywarp was rebuilt, but stayed out of Starcrosser's way after that.
Starcrosser then supplanted Warp as Air Cmdr under Shockray, sharing the position with Milena for a time until she proved unreliable. Eventually, Milena even proved traitorous and Starcrosser terminated her.
The Air Command grew in size and power under Starcrosser's leadership. Starcrosser organized the AC into the Firestormers, Airraiders, Puddincons, and also absorbed the faction known as the CobraCons to add a fourth division.
When Starcrosser took a leave of absence, Shockray, fearing
Starcrosser's
popularity, used the opportunity to declare the Air Command a "renegade faction." The Decepticons split.
Shortly thereafter, Shockray mysteriously disappeared. Starcrosser returned, stamped out the remaining Decepticons still loyal to Shockray,
and formed the West Sector Decepticons.
The once small group had grown so big by this point, SC split the WSD into three divisons: Air Command, Security/Intel, and Special Ops. Starcrosser
even recruited the Combaticons as a fourth division.
Starcrosser soon eliminated almost all competition, using advanced tactics to keep his enemies in hiding or on the run.
But all cool things (and by cool, I mean totally sweet) must come to end. Starcrosser grew weary of training recruits and dealing with the time constraints of his hardened veterans. This, combined with the unwillingness of the other Decepticon factions to battle the WSD and lack of Autobots to fight, led Starcrosser to dissolve the West Sector
Decepticons.
The Neocons took the opportunity to circulate much false propaganda, claiming the AC was destroyed by their hands.
Yet this was not to be the end of the Air Command. It returns now as
the
Air Command II. The West Sector [Bigbot] is a wasteland, but in the
territories of the Cybertronian Alliance resources are prime for the
taking.
Starcrosser returns.
