Container of the greatest port on the Sea of Storms, and also the oldest stronghold of man, Tear is truly a spectacular city.
The Stone of Tear is a fortress made with the one power which fused together stone from around the world seamlessly - and this fortress had never been taken until the Dragon Reborn and a few hundred Aiel took it in one night.
Until the Dragon Reborn took control, Aes Sedai were tolerated in tear, but channeling was outlawed - and a mistrust still hangs among the people from anyone who can channel.
