Male Forsaken:
13 in all, The Forsaken were Aes Sedai extremely susceptible to these promises of power and glory. Known among themselves as 'The Chosen', the rest of the world called them 'Dreadlords' or, more commonly, 'The Forsaken', for they forsook the light and went over to the dark.
Ishamael: Foremost in the 13. Also called Ba'alzamon. A great and powerful general. Killed by Rand al'Thor (The Dragon Reborn) in the Stone of Tear 999 NE, though death is not always final with the Dark One.
Aginor: Second most powerful man. Foremost biological scientist in the Age of Legends. Creator of 'Shadowspawn'. Trapped near the surface of the Bore when it was sealed, he awoke to a time-ravaged body; he was killed by al'Thor near the Eye of the World in 998 NE.
Balthamel: Wild Temper. Popular with the women. Known to set up camps for the breeding of human 'food' for Trollocs. Even more time-ravaged than Aginor when released, he was killed at the Eye of the World by the Green Man (The last of the Nym).
Sammael: Evident scar, badge of hatred for Lews Therin Tellamon (The Dragon). One of the great generals in Lews Therins army, he wanted control instead. Last known to be ruling Illian under the name Lord Brend - his current whereabouts are unknown.
