Illian:
A large and powerful nation on the Sea of Storms, Illian has now been taken by the Dragon reborn because it would not acknowledge him. Since then the whereabouts of the then-king is unknown - not even whether he is alive or dead.
The city itself is riddled with canal-ways, unpaved streets and Ogier architecture, with broad-brimmed hats and thin staffs common among men and women alike. High-soled shoes called clogs are used in the wet season to help elevate the wearer from the muddy streets.
