Aiel
Waste:
A large expanse of desert-region which is all-but waterless - truly, not much else can be said.
The Aiel are a war-like people, who's dress is the cadin'sor - a very good camouflage for the waste, consisting of a veil which is only done up when they are going to kill someone.
They are tall, fair-haired with excellent combat, hiding and tracking skills - both men and women.
They are distant relations of the Tuatha'an - indeed are an offshoot of these people - and they allow them to cross the waste safely.
They have a major grudge against Cairhienin, who thay call Treekillers - after an Aiel gift to them was destroyed by their king; the gift was a branch of Avendoraldera (The tree of life).
The structure is complex - the people are set into clans and societies.
The Wise Ones are more often than not channelers - but they don't need to be.
