Descriptions
Dwarven Great Axe:
The proverbial double-bladed
axe. Human battle axes are all single-bladed weapons.
Pole Flail:
This weapon consists of an 8 foot long staff. Attached to
one end is a length of chain approximately three feet long, with
a spiked or studded ball at the end.
Slashing
Chain: This weapon consists of eight to ten feet of
chain, with a dagger-length slashing blade on one end of the
chain, and a solid metal weight on the other.
Spiked Balls:
Sometimes called a "hailstone", a spiked ball is a metal ball
roughly an inch in diameter, bristling with sharpened spikes.
It is thrown as a weapon.
Spiked Glaive:
This is a 5' long polearm consisting of a convex chopping blade
at one end of the staff and a sharpened metal spike on the
other.
Thorn Staff:
This weapon actually resembles a sword more than a staff.
It consists of a 3 to 4 foot long wooden shaft that has
sharpened metal "thorns" embedded through three-quarters of its
length.
