Vagrant Story

Vagrant Story is somewhat of an RPG, and also part Action/Thriller. Think "Resident Evil RPG", only less gory and set in medieval times. This game has incredible graphics, considering it is completely done with polygons, even the video sequences (there are a few CG cinemas, but not many!) The gameplay system is very difficult to learn at first, but after one half-hour or so, it becomes very easy to use. There is not much freedom of choice, you basically go from one room to the next. You can choose between rooms sometimes, but will end up going back to the other eventually.
You play as Ashley Riot, a "Riskbreaker". You are tracking down Sydney, an evil Warlock. Sydney knows you are following him, so he has set traps and spells to hinder your progress. You must also fight monsters, and royal soldiers who are chasing Sydney as well.
Vagrant Story is a very original game, and is fun to play. I recommend that you at least try this game.
