The next chapter in the bestselling Final Fantasy series will not disappoint. The world has changed from a fixed, pre-rendered setting to a full 3D polygon setting. Now, don't think that it will look anything like Xenogears, because the power of the PS2 is utilized better than any other game yet. Simply put, FFX looks incredible.
As far as the story goes, it follows the basic Squaresoft RPG plot. You take the role of Tidus, an underwater "Blitzball" player. You later join up with Yuna, a "Summoner". She comes from a long line of Summoners. The main goal is to drive "Sin" from the planet. There will undoubtedly be a slew of side-quests and adventures to fulfill.
FFX will not feature any online components, contrary to what Squaresoft had planned at the beginning of the project
