Decalogue Of
The Sanctorum

The following rules are intended for the express purpose of conduct within the guild, and for maintaining membership WITHIN our Order Of Mages.

All member mages MUST maintain an appropriate level of activity within the confines of The Sanctorum with regards to posting messages, battle reports, defense reports, gaming information, etc.  Failure to show activity of any kind for a period of 72 hours on our forum is grounds for possible expulsion, and will get you a WARNING from the Council via Archmail.  If you fail to respond to the "warning" within 24 hours time, your membership status will be revoked and cannot be reinstated until you contact the Guild Leader "in game" as your access to the forum will be denied as per an IP Banning.  This is not meant to sound dictatorship-ish, but is intended to bring people together in a common cause.  Regardless of previous status within the guild, or game rank, you must continue to hold a certain level of activity to maintain your membership.  Special dispensation CAN be arranged provided you contact the Guild Leader and state your case.

While a mage of The Sanctorum, you are required to conduct your incarnation and "real life" person in a respectful manner.  This simply means no usage of foul language within Arrow Messages, Archmail, or thread posts to the UBB.  You are forbidden to post to another guild's Public Forum with regards to The Sanctorum as a whole without PRIOR consent from a member of the Council.  Posting messages to the Archmage UBB is permissable, but NOT when it involves matters of the guild as a whole.  Within our own private forums, you are free to express yourself in any way you deem fit, but not so in the public eye.  Failure to comply with this rule WILL result in certain sanctions being imposed upon you, and repeat offenses MAY even result in expulsion from the guild.  (We are here to have fun, and not exchange slanderous remarks with those who take games far too seriously.)

Mages of The Sanctorum are forbidden from belonging to another guild at the same time as ours.  We believe monogamous guilding best suits our own interests, and we will not accept a mage into our Order who is also a mage from another guild....whether this guild is in opposition or friendly status to The Sanctorum.

The exchanging, or distribution, of "sensitive" information pertaining to The Sanctorum, and/or our mages, Alliances, NAPs, or any associate of the guild, is grounds for "High Treason".  Mages found guilty of this crime will be executed at all costs.  We realize that spying is a part of the game....but YOU must realize that we will kill you if you are discovered.  Nuff said ??

Mages of this guild are expected to FULLY adhere to our Rules Of Engagement, and ALL policies established by The Sanctorum whether publicly posted or otherwise listed.  Failure to comply on a repeated basis will result in expulsion, and may even result in you being placed on our Enemy List or Dungeon List to receive just punishment for shaming our guild.  This rule is NOT negotiable.

You will be expected to appropriately update your mage description upon member acceptance, and again at anytime you are requested to do so.  Accurate descriptions are a necessary attribute of game relations.

You will be expected to follow Archmage rules as outlined in The Decalogue Of Terra, and will be accountable for any, and all, actions of your mage account.  The Sanctorum as a whole holds no responsibility for multi magers that play this game.  If anyone within The Sanctorum is suspected of multi maging, appropriate measures should be taken immediately....even by guild members themselves.

We are actively seeking to "roleplay" our incarnations, and even add some spice to the game with posting fantasy story lines within our forums, and adding flare to our Arrow Messages.  This rule will not be mandatory, and can be better researched by visiting the appropriate page for this topic.  (Roleplaying Page has not been updated for public viewing at this time.)
