- These unusual hand crossbows were first brought to Khazan about ten years ago by adventurers returning from strange off-world quests. Since then, they have become enormously popular.
- Allows up to six crossbow bolts to be fired, a process equal to a move-equivalant action. While it holds bolts, the wielder can fire 3 bolts per round in quick action.
- Magically replaces the bolts fired once the sixth bolt is fired, but will only replace a maximum of 20 bolts per 24 hours.
- Unlike a crossbow, it has no drawstrings---bolts are propelled forward by magical force.
