Jack proceeded to take the sails down and drop the
anchor. Lady Fair yelled down from the crow' s
nest ...."the port is empty!" and as she began to climb down she spotted
something at the edge of the cliffs yet said nothing for the
moment. Jack continued to tie the ropes around
the port poles and dropped down the bridge with his telekinesis, Marion
downstairs feels the ship has stopped and begins to move
toward the stairs and she reached the upper deck Jack
turned to Marion smiling ..."Marion, we are stopped." Marion upon
hearing Jack looked to him as she moves up to the deck.
Lady Fair having come down from the crows
nest looked to Artimus silently not wanting to disturb him just yet as he
looked to Misty and scoled....You could have been attacked
by now as well" he said after she had made a
comment that her could already be on the island if ahe had swam to it. She
stood there in front of them and shivered as she stood there
dripping wet. She watched as Marion cross the ship
to the side and she leans on the railing seeing the others on the pier...
moves towards the plank. As he saw her moving Jack
used his telekinesis to float marion to his side,
setting her down gently. Marion smiles up at him resting her hand
upon his arm. Mistique watched them silently as she looked out
into the island as Lady fair turned to Artimus
and tapped him on the shoulder as she pointed to the cliffs and handed him
the spyglass. He looked to her taking the sly
glass and focused to the cliffs They all turned to the
cliffs and Mystique sighed knowing what thay had seem. Jack looked to them
and said...."We must be careful, I sense things all
around and this is not a good thing either... danger
awaits us." Artimus turned to Mystique questioning..."Misti what's
the layout of the island.?" |

As Artimus asked her about the island, Mystique
sat gazing toward the darkness of her land and
she slowly turned to look at him and in a soft whisper...she murmered..the
beach...then the forest... and then the cliffs on the other
side..we never went to the cliff though
...because...Artimus looked at her as she spoke and asked ...Misti where
would you be if you wanted a secure place to hide, because
why? Misti looked to Artimus as she remembered the past... "You could hear the sounds of the demons
my father said ...As she spoke
Marion gazes around to Jack as she heard the ganger.."Danger?" she
asked softly and Jack only turned as ssid.."Aye danger, just
can't put a finger on where though." then Marion
turned to misti when she heard the word .....What demons? asked Marion a
look of concern on her face. Lady Fair simply shook her
head listening to them. Mystique looked to them
and sighed as she continued.."I do not know we never went to the
cliffs...they are by the
caverns though, where the winds live. Jack looked to her ..".Shit..
I say we move into the
forest quickly its our best bet.." Artimus walked over to Lady Fair and
quietly whispered..."what did you see." Lady Fair
looked at him as she pointed toward the cliffs..."I saw someone over there. Marion looked to all
of them as she looked to the cliff and
said..."What if the demons are by the caverns or the cliffs? Aretimus
turned to them and sighed.."there's at least one person on this
island people, Lady Fair has spotted them by the
cliffs.."
Jack quickly began gathering their belongs as he
looked to them ..."Aye... we need to take cover...
standing in the openned tis nae good." Mystique looked out onto the island
as the winds returned the fury with which they returned
known to her as it was again as the day her
brothers had died so long ago. Artimus turned to them as spoke ..."get
your weapons, supplies and anything else we may need. Jack
looked to Marion as he collected what he need and
walked to Marion as she nods slipping her arm through his and they head
for the forest with Lady Fair following. Mystique
looked to them silently as the winds rushed by brushing
her face and beckoning. Artimus turned to Mystique and reached out
to her...."Ready to go home Misti.?" She looked to him confused and
whispered softly..."I am home" ..
as she looked out into the darkness of the forest and felt the cold winds
upon her face. She began to walk toward him as Jack
now on the beach looked left out into the distance
where he could see a crowd of things gathering in the darkness he slowly
began to walk into the forest. Artimus looked to
Mysitque and smiled....No. babe...I mean feel it beneath
your feet? Mystiques kept looking to the darkness as a sense of doom
overwelmed her and she looked to Artimus... "maybe you
should all leave before something happens...and Artimus answered softly as he looked to her ..Not
if Fincanon's still here."
She looked to him then looked to the darkness as
it gathered by the edge of the cliffs and head to
the plank and down to the port. Artimus followed her onto the beach as
Jack looked around for a good place to set up camp as Marion
walked with him. Marion turned to Jack you wont
leave will you ? and jack smiled ...."me leave? yeah.. right. Nothing will
happen to me. He looks around and finds a perfect spot to
set up camp and he sets a stake in the ground
marking the camp site. He looked to Marion and said ..."Stay here
Marion. I shall scout ahead. Marion whispered softly ..."I
am nae going anyplace as Artimus walked up to the camp
site....Jack? Mystique looked silently to them as she glanced into the
forest silently watching waiting. Jack started to walk to
into the forest thicket as he answered.." Aye
Artimus.? and kept walkin as he disappeared out of sight as he could hear
the sound of Artimus last few words...this is Misti's
Island, she knows the terain." but Jack had just disappeared out of site. Mystique looked to the Marion
silently and sighed....."You'll be alright
Miss...I promise....Marion looked to her and smiled..and nods silently.
Mystique looked out into the forest silently and waited.
Artimus looked to her as he spoke..."Misti, first we
go to your house and scout it out." and Lady fair glances about the camp
site as misty answered softly...as she looked to him
...."alright." Marion looked around as her senses
heighten ...she does nae like what she is feeling. Artimus looked
around the proposed camp and sighed Misti if your home is
empty we can setup camp there and if it isn't
empy it soon will be, Agreed?."
Misty looked to him and sighe ...."yes but first
we need to find Jack ...there are many dangers
on the island he knows nothing about." She looks to Marion as she begins
to wander in front of them in the direction Jack went..as laughter
can be heard in the distance.
Marion moves slowly to where she can hear him as the brush moves and
Jack comes walking out of the thicket. They had
all followed Marion as she had followed the sound of
the voice and they stood their watching as he emerged from the thicket.
With a smirk on his face Jack looked to then as he
appeared infront of them...." Man! everythings burnt down. Theres only a couple of buildings
left..everythings thrashed and some of the water
runs of blood. ..He continued. Marion looked to him as fear griped
her ...What? She turned to Artimus and shivers a bit as she
asked.."May I ask why we are here?" Mistique looked to
Jack and sighed as she thought of her home as he said ..."Man what a
mess." then remember she asked...Did you find the
cave?..He turned to her and shook his head and answered slowly.."No." Mystique turned to the other
and smiled ...."We can go there." Jack and
Artimus looked to her and spoke as the same time ...Lead the way.. they
said and then looked to each other and smiled. Jack
then turned and walked to the back of the group as
he spoke...I'll stay behind to make sure everything goes smoothly.With a
nod she looked in to the forest and started walking to the
north as Artimus called Lady Fair ....Cef you're
with Misti and I... Mystique walked slowly throught the forest glancing to
the trees as if waiting for somewthing to jump out and
attack...although not afraid for her self she feared
for the others. She walked along the river past the bolders and then
turned east. Jack
followed behind them. |
