Joining Regulations

I'd like to welcome everyone to "Clan Joining 101"

For everyone thats new to the world of clanning, let me tell you a bit of information about Original Gamer. First off, we aint your ordinary run-of-the-mill PK happy clan. We specialize in the uniqueness Diablo 2: Lords of Destruction brings to us. Mainly, we like to use what we call Variants. Variations to the game, to us, have ment a new evolvement of this game. Since Blizzards hasnt given us newer rune words, or changed crafting, or even added more unique elites, we are kinda stuck as to the funness of the game. However, variants give us a new way to spend our time descovering means to build characters and have them do good where others fail.

For example, Clan OG is well known around the Bnet and Diabloii.net community for its Throw Barb base. We have a large amount of the best Throwing Barbarians on US East, and US West holds the founding fathers of the Thrower Barb phenomenon. This doesnt mean you need a Throw Barb to join.

Now that introduction is past, lets move on to joining the clan.

Joining Procedures.
Since the clan doesnt have an actual application, new recruits are required to, among other things, register for our own forums, and post a topic announcing themselves and info about them.

After that, the recruit will be under what we call "Internship". Each Intern has a 2 day period to be evaluated. Once the second day is over, the active members of the clan must vote whether it was sufficient time to allow the Intern to join the list, lengthen the Internship, or boot the recruit. Interns need 3 votes from active members to get in.

Requirements-

Registration in Clan Forums.

Required to maintain 1 Variant character. This could be any Variant you can think of.

Required 1 clan name. Give us a nickname you want to be called by and dont get them mixed up with current members. (Example, we have TomaHawkXIII as a character name, whom we call Toma, and another member uses Toma-Hawk as his char name, we call him Posse)

Required to maintain a semi-active status. If you need to be abscent for any specific amount of time, leave us a note. Otherwise we have a weekly rollcall everyone must reply to. If you do not reply, we boot you from the clan and find someone else to make fun of
