Fishing Types

Canal :
Minnows - casting rod, small hook, red larva/worm (red is favorite but worm
works)
Smelt - casting rod, medium hook, insect
Lukefin trout - casting rod, large hook, minnows/worm (both seem to work fine)
Black bass - lure rod, spinner, crankbait
Catfish - lure rod, spinner, frog lure There may be another variety of trout
(Large Trout) in the cannel, using Sm. Lure Rod w/ spinner & minnow lure.
They move very fast. So if you find one checking your bait, in one spot -
quickly switch to the correct bait and rod and hit that spot again.

Fishing Pond :
Loach - lure rod, spinner, crankbait
Darter - lure rod, spinner, worm
Crucian - fly rod, spinner, caddisfly dry
Dace - fly rod, spinner, stonefly dry/dipfly dry (stone is favorite, it may
not bite dry)
You need to buy all the boats. (Total cost 100,000) I would highly recommend
buying all the boats as soon as possible. Once you get to the ocean you will
make back the cost the of all the boats (65,000) in a day or two. and that
is after paying for each fishing tip.

Ocean :
Spotted Trout: worm/diptera(wet), medium hook
Snakehead: frog/diptera(wet), medium hook
Great Carp: Insect, diptera(wet), medium hook
Eel: use small fish/diptera(wet), large hook Fisher King:
Use same gear as eel only use dough balls for bait. Only problem is once you
catch on the fisherman won't give you any tips on where they are. So you have
to take your chance. Also the fish are no longer staying one spot. So buy
your first tip and then fish all around that spot. Don't Forget To buy Coffee
for 7500 if you are under level 31. To keep the price of COFFEE the minimum
be sure to tip the fisher man 200 credits the first you set sail.
