Day

As he opened one bag he opened his mouth in surprise, Inside was food, not of great value, but it was more than what Petty had eaten lately, but fear still was with Petty, all he knew the meat could been poisoned, but, temptation and days of not eating finally got to Petty.

Reaching in, Petty removed a piece of raw meat and threw it to Shadow Vein, who hungry chewed on it happy, and some cooked pork for himself and began to eat.

After finishing the meat, Petty smiled and packed away the rest for later and looked over at the other bag, Petty had almost forgot about that one. Making his way across to where it laid, Petty untied the bag and looked in to see gold coins, more than he had seen for a long time.

“Why?” thought Petty, he hadn’t done anything to earn what the man gave him

Blinking Petty clicked, The man had said he had seen Petty before and he saw petty even thou to Petty he was as well hidden as he could be, Could it be that he wasn’t as well hidden as he could have been, sighing Petty pondered on the problems, How could he learn to be better at remaining hidden.

“Rogue’s Guild” murmured Petty to himself, if he could learn what he wished it would be there, the man has said he was a member, So he must have learnt there.

Eagerly Petty hurriedly picked up his leather bound book and his sword and left in the direction of the Rogue’s Guild.

Rushing through the streets of Moorgate Petty was feeling a rush he had never felt before, a eagerness like a child before Kalimas, he guessed…he barely remembered what Kalimas was like but he decided it felt like he was now.

Around Brent Street and up towards the Rogue's Guild on Copper Walk, Petty stopped dead as he drew up to the guild which he hadn’t been to for years, breathing heavily and stopping dead at the sight of a massive amount of city guards milling around a small building. Drawing back Petty watched as nothing…nothing but the grumbling of city guards about their footwear and sitting down for a rest after heavy duty standing around doing nothing.

Sighing Petty made his way nearer to the guild, the eyes of the city guards burning into him more than any torture instrument he could imagine or had inflicted on him in the past.

With a blink Petty pasted a rusted well and then looked up…breath taken away with the building, which seemed small to start with now laid out before him, all in all quite impressive, as Petty gazed a cough interrupted his thought and brought him crashing back to earth.

Shaken and startled, Petty took a steep back as he looked up at the man before him, then relaxing a little but still ready for anything like a coiled viper ready to strike.

"Greeting again, Petty" said the man with a smile.

"h ho..." stuttered Petty but before he could finish the man interrupted.

"You are a member of the guild, then I know you, I know all members even if they age, I am

Robyn of the hood, we meet before, when you joined, don’t waste time here, someone inside is expecting you" Said Robyn.

Hesitating, Petty shuffled forward, then the searing stare of the city guards hit him again and moved towards the dark door, fearing what was awaiting him but also loathing the eyes of the city guard.
