NOTICE!

After four (4) wonderful years I have finally decided to close Torayan Weyr. It was a heart wrenching decision... but in the end it is for the best. With my wrist problems and the lack of time to properly care for my Weyr and update the website I don't think it's fair to my outstanding and much loved members to neglect them due to that lack of time. We have also been quite.. comatose.. as of late, and it is obvious that although it was a blast, Torayan has run its course in the world of RP. I will never forget the members who have stuck through with me 'till the end nor those who are a bit newer and gave my Weyr a chance. And for those of you who had applied recently I deeply apologize for not responding but I just don't have the time anymore to pay Torayan the attention it and its members deserve. I hope that all of you who were members have fond memories like I do, and I'll never forget you.

2004-06-02 I have several exicting announcements to make! First, a belated congradulations to Annii and her chara T'vir and bronze Rylenth for catching Pirenth in her last flight! He is now the new Weyrleader... finally these two can be solely together as Weywoman and Weyrleader. :)
Also, Pirenth clutched this week, and there's a gold egg! Stay tuned to see who Impressed that goldie.
Welcome to our new members, and keep your eye out for wacky plots! We always seem to have some of those.

2004-03-12 Dang it's been a long time since I've written anything here! A lot has surely happened, but here are the key things:
One of our longest standing members and BoDettes has gone her own way (and for very good reasons)- Crysty!! Good luck hun, we will miss you!!
Also, PK1- Silverstar class has graduated!! Congradulations!!
We have gotten several new members, and many new, wonderful personae have been created. We have many plot lines going on, and many exciting things happening and about to happen. Things are a brewing- it's going to get good. :)

2003-08-21 Oh look... here it is again, 2 months later! RL is such a pain sometimes. LoL
There's lots of news to impart to you all! First off, in RP news: An assassination plot against Lord Talan of Torayan Hold was discovered by the Harper Hall. Runner Tyrinah unearthed more information on this, was accidentally caught, tortured, and rescued. A man hunt ensued, and we have to prosecute them as of yet.
Cross Crafter Day, a new yearly event taking place at the Weyr, got under way, and to a slow start. But we'll try it again next year, after we've had a bit more time to plan. *g*
Pirenth and Wynnyth's most recent clutch has hatched!! It's 2011.9-28 our Pern time, and a clutch of 25 beautiful dragonets joined Pern's forces! Including a GOLD!! Congradulations to Jezza, and her owner Leland, on Impressing Clarth! And congradulations to all of you wonderful new Weyrlings as well.
In non-RP time: We've had some new members join us: Michelle with her blue rider, Sh'ess, and Jean with her hold brat, Kieran. Welcome to the group!!
I'm sure there's more news, but for now, we'll sign off with this.

2003-06-10 My my!! It has been a long time once again! Forgive me if you have been going through withdrawls of gossip. Now that school is out for the summer, I will be paying more attention to this site.
Now... for some news: 2011.5-28 (Pern time)- Pirenth, our senior queen has risen again! And once again she was caught by Wynnyth, making R'vynn Weyrleader once again. Congrats
On to a later date, Runner Tyrinah was attacked during one of her 'missions', and was rescued by C'tol. A man hunt will soon be sent out to find the guilty holdless band. Love is also in the air for damsel and rescuer... *wink* I'd also like to welcome back an older member: J.R.!! There are also some new members (forgive me if I leave a name out): Sara, Lisa, Merry, Ty, and there are a few others, but you are all so wonderful I can't keep you straight!
There will be a clutching soon, a cross-crafter day, and the Spring Games, which will be followed by the Hatching of Pirenth and Wynnyth's clutch!! Stay tuned for more information!!

2003-02-21 Wow, it has been a very long time since I've updated all of your gossip needs, hasn't it? Everyone has once again been very busy, and the webpage has been a tad neglected. My apologies to everyone. But, on to announcements. Two young women from a near by hold were chosen to play a "prank" of sorts, to test the Weyr's reaction and instincts to danger. They were not caught that night, but several weeks later they were nearly lynched by a rider who spotted them and recognized them. The Weyrwoman came just in time to save them.. so no injuries.
Also, green rider Aliana, and Weyrleader R'vynn are the proud parents of two, twin baby girls, Rellynn and Ayrin. Congradulations!!
I would also like to welcome some new members: Lenna, who's bringing candidate Allia to us, Sarah, who's brought candidate Dayvid to us, and if I am forgetting someone at the moment, please forgive me! You are still very much welcomed and loved! And, how about a returning member? Amanda had come back to us, and has brought Ica and green Spirith to us, not only a rider, but Weyrsinger as well! But that's all for now!

2002-12.30We have all been very busy with the holidays... and with that said, Happy Holidays to everyone! We are working on getting everything updated, so if you do see anything that is sorely out of date, that's very much why.
Also, our senior queen, Pirenth, will be rising very soon, and the Weyrleadership may be up for grabs! And last, but certainly not least, welcome to all of our new members.

2002-08.19 Congratulations to all of the Weyrlings that Impressed from Miryath's clutch! And, a special congrats to Crysty, whose candidate, Hiyanah, Impressed gold Rashinath.

2002-08.03 Wow, what a lot of things happening lately! Weyrwoman Kalina, and Wingleader T'vir are the new, proud parents to a baby boy, Kaliekan! Welcome to the world, little one.

2002-07.29 We would like to extend a congradulations to Leland, the newest member of the Torayan BoD!! Her long standing loyalty and hard work have made her a prime candidate! Welcome aboard!

2002-07.28 We've had many changes as of late, including the LOA of our webmaster. Many changes need to be made on the website, so bear with us as we sort through each page. If you see something that needs to be fixed, please let me know.
Also, several sevendays ago, Savannah and queen Seth, our Candidatemaster, passed away due to severe Threadscores during a prior Threadfall. Weyrlingmaster Second, A'drue, has stepped in to fill her place until a permanent one arrives. We will miss you, Savannah and Seth.
And to add yet one more topic, Queen Miryath has clutched!! There are 19 beautiful eggs--and possibly a gold! There are still a few spots open. If you wish to have a candidate stand for this clutch, send in a persona sheet to the BoD.
