| A Desert Kats
Personality Desert Kats are the most honor bound kats on Tryne. Their honor differs from kat to kat, but they all hold a high system of chivalry. Or at least something close to it. Like most kats, they train from a kit to fight and defend those who are helpless and weak. This doesn't mean that they like or will even tolerate Mundanes or cripples. Often their honor bounds them to help those in need, fight when necessary, and keep the deserts clean from scum. Desert Kats tend to be reclusive, staying in their own Clans, though every time they do meet a new Clan, kats of the new Clan join them, and kats of their Clan join the new Clan. Desert Kats are nomadic, constantly wandering the Desert in search of ruins, and lost cities. They also love old relics, old jewellery and other such old things. Sometimes, a few kats or less will wander from the Desert, searching for ruins outside of the Desert. The does not happen too often, but enough to make Desert Kats known outside the Desert. Desert Kats care for all and none, but as stated, will help those in need. When they do this, they will fight to their highest extent, doing their best to defend. Kits from some Clans are made to go out on their own for six months or more at a time to see if they are really adults. Not all Clans do this though. |

What a Desert Kat Looks Like The Desert Kats are the largest of the kats. They have long legs, with a thin, lithe, and well muscled body. Their paws are large so that they do not sink in the sand, and their tails tend to be a little fluffier at the ends so as to use as a sun block or even as furry fans. Their eyes are normal sized, but their eye to mouth stripe is thicker so as to use as a glare streak. Their ears are large so as to radiate heat from them. Their back legs tend to be longer than the front so that they can run quicker and make farther leaps and running strides. Desert Kats tend to be lighter in color for the simple fact that the darker they are, the hotter and worse it is for them to live in the Desert.
