It's a well-known fact, that a lazy chocobo is an unhealthy, unhappy chocobo. You can avoid this by entering your new fowl in a race!

We take pride here at the Gold Saucer in our state-of-the-art virtual races. Our race tracks are equipt with virtual devices that show natural scenery that doesnt actually exist. A safe and enjoyable event that both you and your chocobo can enjoy!

Thinking of entering the race? Here are some important things to remember:

	You need a chocobo!
	Races last 1 week.
	All new entrants start in Class C race.
	You earn EXP points with every race won 1st place or not!
	Stat points are also earned these increase your ACCEL and STAM.
	Entering level higher then C requires a passnumber.
	Winners will be posted on the Champions page.

The first thing you should know is that Standard race time (S.R.T) is slower then that of real-time. That means that a virtual race that may only take an hour in S.R.T will take a week in real-time, which would be Monday-Saturday. Sundays are used to prepare for the next race.

All beginners will be placed in the C Class race. Once your chocobo gains enough EXP points, however, you may go onto the next level. The following levels are:

The better your chocobo stats are the better offsring it will have should you choose to breed it. As you can guess ACCEL= acceleration, the higher this number the faster your chocobo will be. STAM= stamina the higher this number the better chance you'll have of your chocobo picking up bursts of speed. If this information is a bit much for you, don't worry I keep track of it all and will keep your chocobo information up-to-date for you. All you need do is enter and just enjoy the race!

Not all chocobo's will make it thru the race, some may become too tired and pass out and some may even become unruly and go the wrong way! This can be helped by building up your EXP points and STATS. The more times you enter a chocobo in one level the better chances it will have to win the next level. Don't push it too far too fast, that can only lead to disaster and an unhappy chocobo!

If you are lucky enough to have your chocobo win, you homepage URL and chocobo will be displayed for all to see and a trophy icon will be e-mailed to you for you to proudly display.
