History
As a young officer in the Maximal Army, Metallicron was a less than impressive sight. Nine feet tall, slight of frame, physically weak, and possessing next to no endurance, his placement officer decided that he would never make it out of boot camp alive if he became a grunt soldier. Subsequently, Metallicron found himself transferred into a special unit that taught its members only one thing: the art of electronic surveillance. Metallicron excelled in his work there, eventually becoming skilled enough to warrant a transfer into the army’s top-secret ‘Black Ops’ division. He assisted with reconnaissance and surveillance on numerous missions, where he developed a knack for getting his receivers around even the most difficult out of the way sound bytes. Along the way Metallicron became friends with a number of his Black Ops teammates, especially a bluff gray Transformer named Gaul. They remained close companions until separated by Gaul’s discharge.
The experience Metallicron had gained as a surveillance expert, had, over the years, given him a unique look at the way politics really worked. He had seen it, and understood it all, both legal and illegal. Recognizing this burgeoning ability for what it was, the Maximal Army transferred him yet again to one of its many political / administrative units. He remained there until ordered into the standard declassification program (learning to protect the knowledge gained in Black Ops, from leaking out) and honorably discharged.
Ever the idealist, Metallicron was enthralled by the Jonas’s Conformist utopia, as a counterpoint to the ugly standoffish world he had spent so many nights listening to. Using his own funds, he financed a trip to the Rim, where he quickly became Jonas’s chief non-military aide. Wanting very much for the Conformist dream to be true, Metallicron often blinds himself to the more disturbing aspects of the movement. He has also come to verbal blows with the head of the established military, Plutocron, misjudging how truly dangerous the smaller ‘bot is.
Personality
Metallicron is a very skilled, knowledgeable ‘bot, who is at heart the very model of an idealist. Despite what years of contrary evidence has shown him, he still believes that Transformers across the board could peacefully co-exist if only provided with the right solution. For this reason, Jonas’s Conformist doctrine was particularly appealing. He joined Jonas soon after. However, unlike its other adoptees (the Lightning Corps for example), Metallicron has taken it all to heart. This blind single-minded belief is what makes him so useful to Jonas, and so dangerous to himself. Metallicron will often anger fellow Conformists when he steps on their toes to get a job done. The less devout often take offense to his constant work ethic and wholehearted belief in the party line.
Aside from that, he is very friendly and sociable with his friends, new and old, real and imagined. He is fairly compassionate, generous with his time, sociable, and considerate, while at the same time, doing what needs to be done in a timely fashion.
Appearance
Robot Mode: Stands nine feet tall, with a slim build and an aristocratic bearing that does not carry over into his temperment. Metallicron has a pair of royal blue wings folded across his back. Thin yellow bands run horizontally on parallel sections near the bottom of each wing. The very ends are tipped with black. His Beast Mode head rests on his chest, closed eyes facing downward, with the beak flush against his stomach. His Robot body is a slightly reflective silver metal, covered by maneuverable lightweight boots, gloves, and gauntlets, along with shin and knee guards. They are also colored royal blue. In addition to this he has wider (though not necessarily thicker) royal blue chest, thigh, and shoulder pads. His face is silver with blue helmet like bit of armor over most of his head. A crest of black, white, and yellow feathers, like a mowhawk of sorts, begins just above his forehead. However, instead of standing up straight, the feathers are smoothed back in a straight line until the fan out and away from the back of his helmet. Metallicron has canary yellow optics.
Beast Mode: The blue parrot looks like your stereotypical parrot (slightly hooked black beak etc.), only royal blue in color, with a few distinct markings. His wings have a few thin bands of yellow in the third quarter of each wing, going away from his body. The edges are tipped in black, just as his tail feathers. A crest of ornamental feathers adorns his head, in black, white, and yellow. They are blue near the root. Glassy black eyes and two three-pronged feet complete the image. He is capable of flight in this mode.

Weapons / Equipment
Quill Gun: A very low powered affair that came with the mode. Has a stubby grip, and an all in one ovoid barrel, flattened across the top with a small manual sight. It is royal blue, and has an unguarded trigger. Shoots busts of pointed quills (ten to a burst) that serve more for personal defense or distraction purposes, than offensive ones. Quills cause damage through sheer numbers (Gun holds several hundred tiny quills), and do little damage unless hit in the eye or a sensitive joint. Gun has no overheating concerns, carries its ammo already loaded, and shoots three bursts per second. Effective range is 30 yards.
General Weapon Proficiency: As per his long military tour, Metallicron knows how to use almost any weapon at his disposal. His skill with it, however, varies from weapon to weapon.
