It is fair to say that the band Marilyn Manson, has had it’s fair share of characters through it’s door during the past fifteen plus years.

The original line up of Manson, Berkowitz, Speck and Bundy lasted mere months before the first line up change – the first of many.

It goes without saying that life as a band member is not easy, especially when one considers the controversy that comes with the band. It is also difficult, and with no offence to Mr Manson, when the front man is as focused as he is on the direction or era the band is following at any given time.

In fact, in 2005 there is only one surviving member of the original line up, and that’s Manson himself. The only other member remaining, who has any right to call himself an "original" member of any kind is Madonna Wayne Gacy. Although not in the original line up, he was a feature even before taking up the ivory keys – often seen playing with GI Joe’s on stage whilst the band played around him.

So, we take a look back at the members that have come and gone. We look at what they did before the band, what their role and contribution was during and what they did after parting with Marilyn Manson.
