Ok the new year is here and with that comes change and with change comes our little groups decision to put our identity as sleepawaycamp behind us. I reckon you will know us by the name of "The Narrative" this was the title of the newest song we wrote but me, Sam and Mike were thinking it best suits us as the name of our band. Being allmost every song is a reflection of certain events in our lives and that our music in itself tells stories of us. We feel the narrative works and we are totally comfortable with it. Further more we are locking ourselves up again for the month of January to write more material. We feel that this is only necassary to give us more than enough songs to pick from when we really decide to hit the streets and start playing full time. It will give each show more of a fresh and clean feeling ya know. We are really gonna want to play a lot in the spring and summer and are hoping to really find success in 2004 so stay posted because our sight is probablly gonna go through a complete overhawl and we will have recording plans real soon. So until the next time be good and have fun

Ok we just got done playin a couple of shows. All of them good. The 1st of these was the big Joe memorial which was amazing. I'd like to thank everybody for pitching in and making it happen. The next was last saturday atthe bighorse lounge we made couple friends out there in wicker park. Big Shout Outs to Josh and Erica for putting us over. Next up we gotta date @ the metro with 1908, Extra Credit Assignment, and a couple TBA's we'll have merch there so come out and show some love.

The bears are getting killed, I'm not sure what day it is, were all mest up right now. But it has been a while and we are back. Most importantlly Mike Hansen has jumped on to play guitar with us which is totally awesome. We have a bunch of new songs and a show at The Big Horse Lounge on milwaukee ave in chicago (next door to the double door). We're gonna try to play out a little bit but really just workin on new material. It's going great with Mike everybody is really happy with him he has been a good friend to us. When we decided to add him it only made sense. So after touching on that our new shit is off the hook. Then of course there is the record we made LIKE TEN YEARS AGO!!!!!..... Last time I heard the artwork was being finished up and Dan wanted a remix. So my best suggestion would be go to http://www.ldprod.com and drop'em a line ask when they're putting out our cd and then let me know. But go to the show september 20th at the big horse and have fun.
