T hat day may has been an ordinary day to many and a dream come true for some but for me… that was a nightmare… a dream-to-be turned nightmare, I must say that it was the worst moment in my whole life. I can tell that I have lost more than half of my life.
June 15, 2004 was the Linkinpark Meteora World Tour concert in Manila, Philippines held at the CCP Open Grounds. Yes…Linkinpark is part of my damn life! It's my biggest dream…to see them yellin' out, screamin' live and in flesh…
I may not tell it in details but I'll try to open it up (sorry guys, I'm still ion trauma…yes! Until now!!!)
It was in the last weeks of April when I heard that LP is comin' to town. From that very moment, I can't help but yell out because of gladness. I'm sure that I will watch the concert no matter what. I was really excited then. I must admit that the ticket was really expensive but I have bought them even if it cost my lifetime savings. Than I've got my outfit already… My bestfriend in high school said that she'll watch the concert too… and that's the reason why I was allowed to attend because she was the only person who also wants to watch it too. My parents don't want me to watch it because they knew it was rock concert, they were thinking that it's really a freak with the audience who were all war-freaks. I can't blame them…anyways. But at least I was allowed then…
Then the grand day finally arrived. As a preparation, I don't attend my classes anymore. My STRICT aunts accompanied me at the venue. We arrived then at around 6:30 pm. And the event was 8:00pm.
But at around 7:00pm, I have received the worst message I've ever read. My bestfriend texted me that she cannot attend the concert because her ticket was lost. My aunt got to read the message and from that very moment she told me that I should not attend the concert. She saw the audience with very weird outfits, wearing tattoos anywhere and all those stuff. She told me that I should sell the ticket instead. I was totally shocked. I cannot speak, I cannot move freely, my mind was stuck, and my mind doesn't work. Even though I knew that I couldn't please her in anyways, I still tried to but it really doesn't work. She got my ticket and sell for only P1000!!! My ticket was worth P1545.
I already lost my mind then… THAT"S IT… THAT"S IT… when I reached home, I cried and cried. Until now, everytime I talk about it, I can't help but cry…
I was just hoping that they would come back soon…
Now tell me, isn't that was a nightmare???!!!
I just want to share my experience with you, guys!
The date was February 5, 2005, Saturday, at the sm north edsa THE GARDEN; the event…??!! SPONGECOLA was there!!!
HOLLA!!! YAHHERRR!!! Ang SaYa-SaYa… Imagine, one of the hottest bands in the town was right there in front of me… the stage's really close to the audience so I've got to see them even closer…
AnG GwaPo NilLaNg LahaT… c yael, armo, gosh and chris… and my god, they're so damn great!!!
Super lapit ng crowd sa kanila…
I thought di sila ganon ka-cute… but I found my self starstrucked when I saw all of them…pero madyo mahiyain nga lang si armo and gosh…but it was still okay… saying 'di kasi nag-joke si gosh…
They sang 5 songs, the finale is jeepney and afterwards, may autograph-signing…
Ofcourse…I'm on the go!!! I've got my cd autographed and nakamayan ko silang lahat!!!
'Til now…I'm still living with that moment…
Now, tell me, isn't that awesome?!
Hope to see them more live and fresh…
It was Friday night at the sm edsa… I arrived there at around 6:30 pm from school… when I was about to enter, I already hear the drums and the melodic voice of ebe dancel.
MY GOD!!! I must admit… I was starstrucked then… they're so damn great!!! They were awesome… as in all of them…there's EBE, JAL, and MITCH.
Unfortunately, I've got to hear only three songs from them and the last song was the pumpin' "HaRi ng SabLaY"…
But the best part was I've got to see them closer during the autograph signing session… my cd was autographed then and HOLLA!!!
Hope to see them more at their gigs and concerts…
