We're from Brighton, MI and our music is like that from the 60's, 70's and some 80's. We have many idols that include Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, ELO, Blue Oyster Cult, The Who, The Beatles, Deep Purple, Ted Nugent, Black Sabbath, KISS, Bob Marley, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alice Cooper, AC/DC and MANY more. Someday, we hope to be more than a hometown garage band and actually be somebody. We've had a couple of names before JAMe-262 such as DISTRACTED and HIPGNOSIS. Most of the sounds that you hear in our music relate mostly to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and The Who. The JAM part of our name symbolizes the the first letters of our names. The little e with the M in JAM and 262 is for the first jet aircraft ever: the Messerschmitt 262 developed by the germans in WW2. Here's what the members in our band play! ALEX MAZUREK- Lead Guitar (Fender Squier Strat) and MIKE BENSKEY- Drums and Percussion (TKO) Our old backup guitarist was booted out of the band so we could use a new one or a bassist.
