Not necessarily. There are a lot of people who like to be bitten during sex, of as a form of sado masochism, or do the biting themselves. |

No, although a lot of vampyres do start out by drinking their own blood. It is like masturbation though, or recycling so does little good to real vampyres. |

No, not as in the sense of wild beasts that hunt down their prey and kill it. |

YES, being a vampyre DOES NOT make you immune to blood diseases and great care must be taken to check out the sexual and health history of any potential donors. Preferably get them to have an AIDS test! |

|
Umm, the answer to that varies from vampyre to vampyre. Personally I must drink blood on a semi regular basis to be able to stay functioning. If I don't, I tend to become an astral psy vamp. |

|
I get my blood from my donors as mentioned in my About Me page, and occasionally drink cow blood which I get from a butcher. |

|
Some do and some dont, it depends on the individual vampyre. I have the ability to heal pain in others, and the power of fascination over certain people. |

What are the vulnerabilities of vampires? |
|
This also varies among vampyres.. Some cannot tolerate sunlight on their skin (of which I am one) while others have no problem with that. I have yet to meet a vampyre that is affected by being shown a crucifix, or cowered at holy water or garlic. I, however, cannot eat or smell garlic without getting palpitations and nausea. Of course, anybody, human or vampyre will die if you plunge a stake into their heart!! |

How does physical illness effect vampires? |
|
Again, that varies.. it does seem that vampyres are prone to getting CFS/ME though. |

|
The same ways that you'd kill a human.. fire, poison, stabbing, shooting etc.. |

How does one become a vampire? |
|
There are also a few schools of thought about this topic. Personally I believe that people are born vampyres at birth, probably by a genetic defect, but their nature does not develop until puberty when the blood craving will start to take effect. As to whether one can become a vampyre by being bitten by and then drinking from a vampyre, I have yet to discover an answer to that one completely, but the one person who has drunk a little of my blood, had noticed slight subtle changes in her ability to tolerate sunlight, alcohol and garlic. |

Are there different types of vampires in existence? |

Yes, there are blood drinking and psychic vampyres. Some vampyres, such as myself, are both. |

|
No, even though we are portrayed that way in the movies. We NEVER kill our donors and treat them with the utmost respect. We also never go out and attack anyone for blood. |

How does a vampire get the blood from your donor? |
|
That can be done in a variety of ways.. I prefer to cut into a vein of my donor and drink from the wound, but you can also take blood via syringe or bite your donor. Make sure they are up for that first as it can be VERY painful! |

I have never heard of or met one, but I would not say they definitely do not exist. |

We don't worship Satan, we worship ourselves using the metaphorical representation of the qualities of Satan. Satan is the name used in the Judeo-Christian tradition for that force of individuality and pride within us, but it has been called many other names. |
