High Level Review

O(+v's second album is a departure from the slick, highly produced effort seen in "The Gold Experience." A musical smorgasbord, as usual, with an emphasis on guitar. The album marks the return of Rosie Gaines, and introduces a new Jamaican rapper. Claiming to be the last album for Warner Brothers, and to have been originally intended for private use only, it is seen by some as lame and effortless, by others as more than the traditional contract-ending greatest hits or live fodder.

The Critics

Hit and miss, but more good than bad.

"A risk-free musical experiment - not unlike taking an exam without
studying when you know that you are the smartest student in the class."
