I just want to say that I have returned from Anime Punch. I will be making galleries as soon as possible and I had soo much fun.

I got there on friday a bit late... but thats okay. The hotel staff were bitches. Soo many people there, it was soo much fun.

The negatives about this con: The hotel staff were bitches. The Karaoke wasn't very well organized and I refused to sing without its proper leader. The rave wasn't good music to dance too.

The positives about this con: There was a lot of people. Everyone is awesome and I had loads of fun. So much fun that it felt like it was only one day. Although it was two days... but two is always better than most. All the pictures that I was able to get before my camera died was fun. Gathering as many cosplayers in one shoot was awesome. And I just had tons of fun. Playing twister kicked ass! THERE WAS NO CON DRAMA.

I'll hopefully attend next year and I will be adding galleries asap.


on a side note, I wasn't able to take any pictures at Daigacon hence why there will be no gallery for that convention.

The day started out with 6:15... when I finally decided to get out of bed only fifteen minutes after I asked Hil-chan to wake me up because I knew she was awake.. that so bad for your health. But thank you Hil-chan.

SO then I got into the shower and started doing what I needed to do to get ready.. and man I took the longest shower... it was around 6:50 and then Wayne called me and was like are you going to be ready soon? I obviously wasn't going to be... my hair was still wet and I was still in the process of getting clothed..

SO Like at 7:10, he arrived.. and we both left. He had to pick up another friend and such so it was like okay.. and that was Michael.

Soon we arrived at the hotel/convention center in like an hour.. no kidding.. Wayne obviously had speed like crazy. Then I got to meet up with Bai Ai Li. Keep in mind Bowling Green is an hour behind. Wtf? SO then like I got changed in Bai AI Li's room... and then went to the dealers room to get my badge. ANYWAYS. Thats confidential stuff. Started off with some video games like Super Smash brothers.. I won a few times.. that made me happy. There wasn't many people at first but more kept on pooring on and on and on. So we had to wait til around 10:00 til the Dealer's room opened. Then Ricky, Alex, Ali and I were playing Munchkin.. god I am so rusty at that game. I saw SNAKE! And so I stole his box... God I love the box... its so orgasmic. LMFAO. SO then like the dealers room opened, I was able to get my Staff badge and then like worked in the room for a bit. Then I went to go do COSPLAY CHESS.

So I tried to get more people recruited for cosplay chess. Not a lot of people were interested at first until I used my super asian powers and go people playing. Solid Snake, and Staff coordinator Eric was in charge of Chess, and like went around advertising it with me. That was cool. I was soo like.. "PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP!" Wish sad asian eyes.
There was finally enough pieces on the board and so we were able to star playing the game. Until our panel ended.. .that was ridiculous. So then I helped advertise for the next panel... didn't happen.. So then... .. that panel was moved to the next day. I felt bad. But I got to see Bear.. nice to see him. He was doing a directors panel. Yeah.. okay. KARAOKE IS SO MUCH BETTER.

Went back to the room with Eric and did RANDOM BATTLE GROUP. Hehe. It was fun doing it and such. In my Rinoa outfit it was hell. Still at a newb to this it was fun. I WAS ABLE TO KILL SNAKE! YAY! Ameria helped with a crab summon... it was funny. And Ameria casted confusion and blah it was fun.

Then like.. I listened to the Spoony Bards for a bit... and registered for cosplay. I was #2. I'm like WOW. Then went back to the Dealers Room... and then one of the spoony bards and I got acquainted with him. Very nice guy. :D

Sang and listened to their music it was fun..

And the piano played WALTZ TO THE MOON... greatest waltz song ever. Hehe.. I was waltzing with Steve.. and I didn't know we had attracted a crowd. :D It was all fun until like I had to go to cosplay judging..

SO then lets see. I didn't have my Rinoa necklace so I had to borrow one from a vendor.. my god it looked awesome. I was amazed with her work and then shes like omg ur work is nuts. haha. That lady was awesome. I just wish I had my wallet on me so I could have bought stuff. I didn't bring any money except a $20 for food. ((WORKING STAFF ROCKS)) And so then like... it looked awesome. It was soo cool talking to her.. yea I went to judging.. and like got judged around 4:15.I couldn't help myself with the translations of everything.

SO like yea..judging took a bit longer than expected but there wasn't that many entering as is.. then like it was like 6ish? after all the skits... ((the itachi was really hot if you ask me.)) There was only three skits... Full Metal Panic((very nice FMA into Naruto cosplay skit)) , there was a Random Battle Group.. it was very hard to hear then.. but it was very entering to watch, and then there was the Itachi party skit: the guy started stripping off such and then just lifted his shirt for it to say," I LOVE YAOI". And that was it. That was so weird but he was hot to me. Then it was time for THE COSPLAY MASQUERADE. Bai Ai Li was first, me second.. then one of the RdHd Twins dressed as a Kaede? from Betterman... and then there was others like Gaara... Sora, Master Cheif.. a jrock mana? cosplay, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Moon, and Sailor Chibi Moon... yea... um.. I didn't know the others who were entering.

So then there was like the anime hating thing.. like such... just a big rant on how we shouldn't like some animes.. and then the juding results...

Best in Show was the Full Metal Alchemist/Naruto group. I was so happy for everyone. yup yup yup.

Bai Ai Li and I were like estatic.. and everyone else was too. I was so happy. like hell yea.
The prizes weren't like given out right away.. and such and then it was like awesome.. then Bai AI Li, Ricky and I went to get dinner then I went to the concert. I got there at Pretear's opening.. my god I was happy I was able to see that. Yoko was also doing a para para dancer.. I dunno why I couldn't smile for it.. I never really did like para para.. but its cool to watch.. anyways.. it was funny to see Austin C. and Mike con chair to do that stuff. Now I know that I have to make a black Maho swimsuit since he only wears black. LOL.

Then the concert was over.. I went over to the spoony bards panel... it was nice.. hehe. And then Wayne gave me a like.. pixie stick.. I LOST ALL CONTROL LOL. I went hyper as hell. And then like I don't know this girls name.. she asked to sit by us.. and I said sure and I gave her a bracelet.. IDK. I was going insane.. and such and then like I got an origami puppy from her.. that was awesome. Then Wayne wasn't feeling well.. but you know what? I think it was good enough time to leave now that I think about it. Yea.. I gave Steve one of my bracelets... and like yea I left. I said bye to Tenbu and their staff.. I said bye to Bear and other such stuff. I'll have pictures eventually.

I wasn't as busy as I thought I would be at this con.

My next con will be Anime Punch. I don't know if I'll be able to stay all the days.. but I'm working on it and such. YEA.

Since it was its first year it was like a bit small but it was awesome. Better than Omg!Con's first year.. I'll be attending that convention too.

So like the past weekend was an anime convention. My god that was something. I travelled with a group of friends to Ohayocon 2007 located in Columbus, Ohio.
Right now I would like to take a moment out of my time and say this: Bai AI Li is awesome for driving the round trip for myself and Phox. I'm very berry grateful and lucky to have a friend who would do that. THANK YOU!!
So the actual con started Friday morning. We got there around 3pmish... and like soon everyone got to go to their rooms... which meant I got to see the TWINS AND KALA! It was great seeing them again. Time is certainly not my friend because I miss them a lot.

I got my badge from Frank... a vendor in the dealers room. The first time and probably the last time I'll do that. he soo took advantage of my good will. Anyways.. Theres more to come with this story that is.

Nick, Amen and Kris didn't arrive til later which was kinda sucky but it was even better seeing them again.

So then stuff... running around.. taking pictures.. loads of fun with Hil-chan.. until we got locked out of our room.. that was crazy. Poor Hil-chan and I had a lot of fan boys... I feel sorry for Hil-chan... we didnt get to sleep so we were wandering around a lot of the evening. Stopped at the cafeteria part and hung out with some random congoers.. There was this evil bitch that was serving breakfast and asking me questions.. its like.. GO AWAY YOU HAG. XD Stupid staff. Anyways I got to hang out with some of the Ohayocon staff.. it was pretty cool. We got into the room around 9... I couldnt locate where Kala's sword was.. so I checked at the other hotel room((Nick, Amen, and Kris' room)). And then I passed out. Mind you I hadn't slept in two days span. So 9a.m. - 3p.m.
um... ... I woke up.. showered... and got into my Chii outfit.


then like worked for Frank because there was nothing else to do... then i saw Louis. That was unexpected but awesome. Before I left the dealers room, Frank wanted a pic with me and him. But not just any picture he wanted a sexy picture. I swear bosses and workers shouldn't be all close like that. I didnt like it. Thats probably one of the last times I'll work for Frank. Seriously... we were gonna just take a friendly picture like hugging each other then he said "no. lets take a sexy picture." Then he grabs my leg and like took a picture. In my own mind, my reaction was like," GET THE FUCK OFF" but outside it was like," okay.." THEN I WANDER OFF TO ARTIST ALLEY FEELING VIOLATED

I couldnt get into the cosplay event.. that pissed me off.. so then i was just hanging around with friends.. and I saw LOUIS! that was awesome. He even dressed up as Ein from Cowboy Bepop. I swear I knew I should have gotten my Faye done ((slaps self)) LOL. I'll have that one ready for Anime Punch. Then I hung around with Matt which was a lot of fun. I got a lot PIGGYBACK RIDES. WHHEEE. Then WENT TO THE RAVE AS CHII SANTA.. I need to take new pics of that in my chii wig and such.

Danced for a long time... long time... stayed awake... stuff... stuff... people asleep and I changed and hung out with more friends... like Sheila, Matt, Izzy, Mike, Will, Chris, Kyo, Kristen, Tony and Phox.. and some other people that I cant seem to remember and even if I tried to it still is in a haze.

hm... more stuff I cant remember. OH, we all ordered pizza at 5a.m. that was awesome. Then tried having a rave at the welcome center.. instead Sheila and I drank all the cokes from the pizza. XD. Then everyone went to the men's restroom for a rave. Which something happened I dunno. Then Sheila and I just like... talked to Mike. Which I don't get him very well... but whatever. I enjoyed the talk with him...somehow.
I got Sheila into her room... I got to go to my room.. prepped up... and then.. walked around for a bit. One of the Spoony Bards did a song on Bananas for me. I asked him too and that made me happy. I wanted to hug him but I couldnt due to the fact that I was so tired. Chris((from security)) started talking to me again. It was cool. And at the same time I was really tired.. a lot of other stuff happened. And I got to go get people's presents for them at Dealer's room... like Bai AI Li's present, Nana's present, and Phox's present. I was like I could fall asleep in a box right now. One of the dealers was like.. you could use our box.. and this is one of the pictures from sleeping in a box.

The dealer was like," hey we could auction you off in the box." XD Thats so funny. I'm like yay. People could buy their own Aeroniel.

Which like... I was really tired that Sunday.. I was wobbling left to right and such... and I caught up to Phox.. and was like,"I'm dying". XD It was funny sorta now that I look back on it. I fell asleep for like five minutes at AA at Kala's table.. then took a few more pictures. Then Phox was like... come with me to go get a messenger bag.. so I got him a new one of those.. and like he had to drag me around because I didn't have the strength to carry myself. SO then like Frank saw me on Phox being all tired.. and he grabbed my arm forcefully pulling me to the side.. I was half asleep mind you and so whatever pulled me pulled me.. I was dead tired. hes like" Melissa come here. You don't have to lean on him like that. Don't go near him. You can lean on me. Just stay here with me. "
I just want to point out a few things.. one he did charge me for the items I got.. so thats ridiculus... I got people buying from me so it was all like whatever you bitch. Secondly I don't think he realized it but Phox is my boyfriend((which kinda is like.. whoa)) and third hes only the guy who I help out at anime cons.. I could so easily work for someone else.. so that pissed me off. AND I'M STILL TIRED.
So then we walked onward.. he was pulling me left and right.. and was all like I WANNA GET THAT.. NO THAT.. and a little child. It was so cute. But I was more aware of everything LOL.. it was funny. THEN LIKE... um.. the guy who was selling lolitas was like you can help the store next time if you want.. I'm like... I SOO WANT TO HELP YOUR STORE. Because then I could wear the lolita outfits they were selling.. man. I want to make my own right now but I don't have the time. Then we like left to go to Bai Ai Li's car... and then that was the end of Ohayocon.

Overall I know there were bad points at the con like the part on Friday were I couldn't get into the room but thats okay I got to meet people and hang out in the hall and piss off one of the non congoers. XD
I got to meet the people that are on myspace that I was hoping to meet in person. I was happy about that. I got to hang out with friends.. as usual I got to dress up and everything. I'd say everything was swell imo. Now time for some shout outs!

Hil-chan~ I had such a great time, even though some of it was all fan boying lovey ness... I still had a great time I cant wait til Anime Punch!

Kala~ I know the room was cramped and such, but I still had a good time rooming with you... well I was hardly in the room but I tried to make it a great experience!

Amen~ I've never heard you talk so much. I'm happy that I got to talk to you more this time.
