Eventually the male and female would be separated by the Masters, to control the population and keep the secrets of reproduction to the Masters. This was a way of keeping the Zentraedi subservient to the Masters. After brainwashing, the two factions had no clue that they could reproduce without the use of the cloning chambers!
The Zentran and Meltran were segregated by the Masters, with each developing it's own different ways of doing things. This would eventually lead to an intense rivalry and disdain between the sexes of the giants.
The Meltran relied on their unusual agility and dexterity to outmaneuver their foes, normally leaving their enemies baffled and in awe at their prowess in combat. Combat was a way of life, but not with the same brute force strong-arm tactics of the male Zentraedi. The Meltran learned to use subtler methods that were no less effective in their result.
When the Meltran under the command of Azonia were assigned to the recapture of the SDF-1, RDF forces learned firsthand how dangerous the Meltran were in their power armor. RDF casualties were high whenever they faced the Meltran, with only the human spirit and will to live being the difference.
Eventually the Meltran and Zentran would join with the RDF after the marriage of Meltran Power Armor Ace Miriya to RDF Veritech Ace Max Sterling. There were fewer reported cases of Meltran rebellion after the end of the war than there were Zentran rebellions. This has led to a slightly greater trust among humans of the REF for micronized Meltran.
If your GM allows it, a Female Mecha Ace may become a Veritech pilot, but will start as a zero-level Veritech Pilot O.C.C. Once they accumulate 3000 experience points in a Veritech Fighter, they will become a first level pilot and will gain all of the listed bonuses for that O.C.C.
