Coalition Veritech Fighter

In 106 P.A., the Coalition made a break through in Robotechnology. They finally learned how to transfer old Protoculture/Fusion engines into their current robot & power armours. They also produced their own Veritech Fighter. Unfortunatly, they're only able copy the basic frame of the old VF-1 series Veritech. Just some stylistic changes have been made, the old head with the visor has been replaced with the trademark Death's Head of the CS, and the head lasers are removed (the things people do for style). The old GU-11 is now a big ass rail gun. The CS is still trying to make VF Armour & Super VF Units. The controls are exactly the same as the old VF, just about all original systems have been kept with this model. Speeds have been reduced though, since the CS lacks the technology to duplicate the supersonic engines in the Veritech Fighters. CS Veritechs are only assigned to Officers of Lt. Rank or Higher.

Standard Sensors and Equipment for Coalition Veritech Fighters

Fuel Capacity
The CS Veritechs used salvaged protoculture/fusion reactors. Gives it an average/useful life span of 6 years. With constant use, the life span is cut by half.

All other systems remain the same. See pg. 46 of Robotech Book 1: Macross

Vehicle Type: CVF-1X transformable battloid/robot (really, what kinda name is robot? Mecha and battloid sounds cooler!)
Crew: One. A passanger can also fit in the cockpit, but must sit in the pilots lap. (-2 to strike, parry, and dodge)
M.D.C. By Location:

* Depleting the M.D.C. of the main body will shut the mecha down completely, rendering it useless.
Speed:
Fighter Mode: 1340mph (Mach 2) with a 60 mile ceiling.
Guardian Mode: 670mph (Mach 1) maximum and as slow as a complete hover.
Battloid Mode: 60mph running; flying in space --- 120mph (if they could actually get it into space).
Height: 42.6ft in Battloid Mode, Jet 16 feet, Guardian 22.3 feet.
Width: 16ft at the shoulders in Battloid Mode, Jet/Guardian(by wing angle): 48 ft @ 20 deg., 36 ft @ 72 deg. Those are the limits of wing movement. Default is 40 ft @ 42 deg.
Length: Jet 44.1 feet, Guardian 40 feet, Battloid 5.7 feet.
Weight: 20.5 tons
Main Engine: FF-2001 fusion turbine in each leg
Physical Strength: Equal to P.S. 60

Weapon Systems

1. Jet Fighter High Powered Lasers: Basically the same lasers that were used in the VF Series.
Primary Purpose: Assault
Secondary Purpose: Anti-Missile
Range: 4000ft
Mega-Damage: 1d6x10+10 M.D. per twin blast, 6d6 M.D. for single blast
Payload: Unlimited
2. Missiles Like the old VF Series, the CS Veritech can hold hardpoints. These hard points are usually only used when heavy combat is anticipated. The Veritech cannot convert to Battloid while all the hardpoints remain so they're usually used within the first few minutes of combat. There are 3 hard points available per wing. One long range, 3 medium range, or 5 short range missiles can be mounted per hardpoint. Usually a combination of SRMs and MRMs are used.
Long Range Missiles Medium Range Missile Short Range Missiles 3. C-200R: This is basically a mecha rifle version of the C-100R Spider Rail Guns. Damage, payload, and range is equal. This weapon can be fired in all configurations and is the primary weapon of the CVF-1X.
Primary Purpose: Assault/Defense
Mega-Damage: A burst of 80 rounds does 2d4x10 M.D., one round does 2d4 M.D.
Weight: 1.5 tons
Rate of Fire: Equal to number of combined HTH attacks
Maximum Effective Range: 6000ft
Payload: 20,000 rounds, that's 250 bursts. Reloading the rail gun requires special equipment and takes about an hour.
4. Hand to Hand Combat: Identical to the VF-1V Vindicator Upgrade.
Combat Bonuses: Basic and Advanced Training Identical to the VF-1V. See Sentinals pg. 59.
