Shizumaru Hisame no Koibito
Chapter 8
The sun risen early the next morning, or what seemed early for Shizumaru and Sue Gee Ko. At the front of
the temple, the two just held each others hand and stopped half way. Shizumaru faced Sue Gee Ko and held
both of her hands, " Then I guess this is good bye," he said looking at her, yet her eyes did not seem to meet.
" Yes," she said with a hint of sadness in her voice. She looked up at him as tears began to roll down here
eyes, she walked closer to him and buried her face in his chest. Shizumaru smiled slightly and wrapped his
arms around her, holding her firmly.
" Shizumaru, promise me that you'll come back," she whispered. "please."
" I'll do every thing in my power to come back to you," he said. Not wanting to let go of her, he forced he hand
into his shorts pocket. Sue Gee Ko looked what he had in his hand. He handed it to her, she realized that is
was fine red hair, tied with a black string. She gasped as she saw the gift, then reached at the back of
Shizumaru's head, sure enough his hair has been cut, there was only a small ponytail that held the rest of his
hair back from his face.
"You are familiar with the Shintaru ritual right?" he asked with a little hope.
She nodded.
" Good, then you will know when I'll be back." he said with a smile. They held each other one more time,
" Take care of yourself Shizumaru," she whispered. " I will be waiting for you ."
" You too." he said with a smile, feeling the warmth of her body against his. Grabbing his umbrella he walked to
the stairs, then looked back at the temple and temple girl who took him in her home and took care of him, Sue
Gee Ko, who had a smile on her face. He nodded at her and ran down the stairs.
