Drawing + Painting + Computing...

Here are some images that combine different ways that I work. The end product is reached via the computer and exists only on the computer or as a printout from that world... Some of the elements in these pieces exist as separate drawings or paintings. The inclusion of drawings and paintings or parts of them in this work often changes the sense of the original work...

This piece was intend as wallpaper for my monitor. It was originally large enough to cover my 17" monitor with a single image. If you try it as wallpaper on your machine you may have to tile it in order to completely cover the screen. If you wish to try it and need help... just ask...

Included in this image is an ink sketch. A software program was used for additional effects.

This one was originally created to see what my printer could do printing on near-photo-quality printing paper. My printer is an antique from '92...
