Chapter 9
When Taylor finally thought of something to separate Sparkle and Zac he knew at that moment that he had formed some kind of feelings for Sparkle. Which surprised him at first because everytime he was interested in a girl, that girl would always be interested in him too. Now it was different. He knew very well that Sparkle had no kind of feelings for him. All her feelings were for Zac. Taylor felt jealous. Jealous of Zac. For the first time ever. He couldnt believe it. Never had he lost a girl to one of his brothers and he didnt want to start now. Especially over a girl like Sparkle. He felt like Sparkle was something too special too loose. As Taylor thought over and over again exactly how he was going to formulate his plan he was writing Sparkle's name all over a pad of paper. He didnt understand why he had come to like her so much and so soon. He barely even knew her and now he couldnt even stop thinking about her. Everytime he imagined her beautiful smile, he put a smile on his face. He imagined her perfect body, her perfect smile, and her perfect blue eyes. Just like his.
"I know what your up to Tay, dont even think about it." Zac said leaning over to see the pad who had Sparkle's name all over. Tay was startled by Zacs voice and comment. He tried to cover up the pad but he knew Zac had already seen it.
"What do you mean?" Tay said knowing what he meant.
"Dont play stupid Tay, Ever since the night of the concert, I knew you had a thing for her."
"Okay I admit it, I was impressed by her. Shes a very gorgeous girl. Yeah, and I have been thinking about her. Whats it to you? You said there was nothing going on between you and her."
"That doesnt mean anything Tay. I knew her before you and I liked her before you. Besides, I know she likes me. Shes a really sweet girl Tay, and I know what you are looking for." Zac said in a voice to tell Tay that he was serious about it.
"Are You sure Zac?" Tay said turning around and giving Zac his back.
"Sure about what?" Zac said kind of confused.
"Are you sure that Sparkle likes you?" Tay giving off an evil grin not showing Zac.
"Of course I am. She told me today herself."
"Well Zac, I hate to break it to you but shes lying to you. She told me that shes been in love with me ever since she heard of me. She said that she wanted to go out with me."
"Thats a bunch of bull!" Zac said kind of worried that Tay might be right.
"Whatever you think Zac, I mean come on think about it, most of our fans are in love with me. Why is Sparkle any different from them?"
Zac thought for a second, and he knew Taylor had a point. Why would a really beautiful and sweet girl like Sparkle like me? Sparkle would be better off with Taylor. Then again, Taylor just wanted one thing with Sparkle. Both of them knew it. Sparkle was too special for Zac to let go of just in a split second. He knew if he really liked Sparkle he was going to have to fight for her.
"Theres just something special about her. I know shes different. You know what?" Zac said in a sincere voice.
"What" Tay said now looking down.
"Im going to ask her out tomorrow. Im not going to waste anytime." Tay quickly looked up.
"But why Zac? Why waste your time? Save yourself the embarassment." Tay said with a plead in his voice.
"I dont care Tay." With that Zac left the room.
Tay panicked. He had to think of something else to do. He didnt expect this so soon. He had to call Sparkle.
"hello?"
"Hey Sparkle, whats up?"
"Oh hey Tay, nothing much, u?" Sparkle said kind of surprised that Tay called her.
"Nothing much. Hey I was wondering if you would like to go swimming this weekend over our house?"
Sparkle was surprised by the question but also happy. This way she would be able to see Zac.
"Yes! I would love to." Sparkle said hiding her eagerness.
"Okay great! Let me give you the address." Tay said very happy that she agreed to do it.
As Sparkle wrote down the address she knew that LizBeth would love to go especially if Taylor was there.
"Hey Tay.."
"yeah.."
"I was wondering if you could let me bring my best friend LizBeth?"Sparkle said with a pleading her voice that Taylor couldnt resist.
"Uh.. Sure." Tay hoping that it would only be Sparkle. But this way he imagined that she would keep Zac busy while he kept Sparkle busy.
"Okay thanks!.. well hey I gotta go, I see ya tomorrow."
"Okay bye!" Taylor was happy that he was going to be able to see Sparkle.
"Who was that Taylor?" Zac said with a curious voice and face.
