Chapter 5
Sparkle couldnt believe how excited she was getting as the night of her meeting Hanson came closer. Her brother noticed lately that she has been very jumpy and happy.
"Whats up with you and always being jumpy lately?"
Sparkle sighed and decided since the whole world was going to ask her about this she could at least tell them why. When Sparkle told her brother about what was going on he put on a face of disgust. He never liked Hanson. He always thought that they looked like a bunch of girls. Eric, was glad for her that she was happy. She deserved it, since he really didnt know how exactly she was feeling since their mothers death because he didnt love her that way Sparkle did. Sparkle knew her brother wasnt really interested in hearing anymore about her little Hanson thing, so she decided to pay her sister a visit. She entered the room and to her surprise Lucy was asleep on the rocking chair. She slowly walked over to Lucy, she was awake but just fiddlin with her toys. To Sparkles surprise, Lucy was smiling. The sparkle in her eyes made Sparkle love her sister even more. Daisy woke up and just told her how great Lucy has been. Sparkle saw Daisy like a second mom. She was always there when her mom wasnt. Now with her death of her mother and her father always being away, she never really wanted to talk to Daisy about anything. For some reason she was afraid.
Sparkle left Lucys room and went to hers. She plopped down on her bed and sighed. Then out of Nowhere Zac Hanson pops in her head. She starts thinking about him always being with her. She slowly closes her eyes, Zac is about to tell her that he loves her, then once again Taylor pops in the picture. He looks at her, and says " Sparkle I like you, and you know you like me." Sparkle wakes up. Surprised about what she just dreamed she starts to think that she never really thought about Taylor in that way. Just Zac. When she thought about her meeting Hanson, she remembered that she needed to write to the girl she met on the net and tell her what she looks like so she can identify her backstage. She wrote an email saying:

Hey whats up? just emailed you to tell you how i look like. I have layered hair that comes down to my shoulders. I might having streaks that nite. I sort of have a big chest, and a very tiny waist. I dunno what I might be wearing so just look out for a Blue Eyed Brown haired girl with a big chest and tiny waist! okay? later mi Chica!

It was two days since she wrote the email to BluAlien and Sparkle was starting to worry because she had not written back. Tomorrow night was the night, the night all her dreams had wished for. Sparkle tried to forget about BluAlien not writing back and tried to think about something to wear. Sparkle couldnt believe how close she was getting to Zac. It scared her. She decided to forget about figuring out what to wear and just go get highlights in her hair and go shopping for a new outfit. She realized then that her dad had not yet came back from his case and had no kinda money to spend. She went to her secret stash and just had enough money for her highlights. She went and came back. She sat in front of her mirrior and looked at herself. She thought for a second that she wasnt as discusted looking as she once thought. She even thought for a second that she was pretty. Her brother came barging in rudely into her room and looked at her.
"Sparkle, I was wondering if you had a ride to the concert tomorrow night?"
Sparkle took that question by surprise because she imagined she had to get a ride from someone else since it was a Friday night, she would think he would be out on a date.
"Couldnt find a date, huh?" Sparkle said with a huge smile upon her face.
"Forget I asked" Eric said really annoyed.
"No I dont have a ride, and I would be happy for you to take me." Sparkle said with a sincere look on her face.
"Okay then..at 6 right?"
"right"
Eric left Sparkles room and Sparkle was so happy that her brother offered to give her a ride. She changed into her PJs and brushed her teeth. She went into her bed. She couldnt go to sleep. She thought it was because of excitement. She turned on her CD player and listened to Weird all not night. She slowly fell asleep, but this time not dreaming about Zac. This time she dreamed about her mother telling her not to be afraid... all throughout her dream she kept telling her that, and at the end Sparkle asked her 'afraid of what'? Sparkles mother put on a smile and said ' you'll see just believe in yourself and be happy Sparkle, BE HAPPY'
With that Sparkle quickly woke up, but in tears and in yells of help. Daisy busted through the door and held her. Sparkle soon fell asleep once again.. Daisy left. This time Sparkle went asleep with no troubles and dreamed about her and Zac being together. If only it was true.
