Chapter 12
LizBeth somewhat was happy for the response Isaac just gave. She couldnt believe how quickly she was falling for Isaac. There was something about him that intrigued her. And she liked it. There was a silence between the two of them. But it wasnt awkward. It was more like the two were communicating through silence.
But the silence was cut by the sounds of grunting and of Sparkle yelling at Taylor and Zac.
"You guys, stop!! Stop fighting! Just STOP! Both of you!" yelled Sparkle. When LizBeth and Isaac got to Sparkle, Zac, and Tay, Zac had Tay in a headlock position with no intention of letting go. Finally, LizBeth got Zac to let go of Tay and began yelling.
"Both of you STOP!" began LizBeth.
"You guys are in trouble now..." said Sparkle with a humming humorous voice. She knew that when LizBeth got started she didnt stop until she let out all she had to say.
"Now, you two are acting so dumb. You guys are brothers, flesh and blood. You guys shared a womb. Look at you two! You are fighting over a girl. No offense Sparkle. But guys, someone could get hurt if y'all keep this up. No wait, someones already gotten hurt because of you two. You guys are hurting Sparkle." LizBeth announced with sincerity in her voice. Both Taylor and Zac put their heads down when LizBeth spoke her last sentence. LizBeth knew that even though some other teenage girl would love to have two fine famous guys like Tay and Zac fight over her, Sparkle didnt. She hated it. And it hurt LizBeth to see Sparkle hurt.
"You guys, LizBeth is right. I mean, you guys shouldnt fight over me. I am NOT a trophy. Now, you are both great guys, but I am going to make a decision. I just need more time. I'm sorry. LizBeth are you ready to go? Because I am." finished Sparkle.
"Yeah, but hold up" she said approaching Taylor. "You know, I used to really like you. And I will admit I was jealous that you like Sparkle more that me. But Im glad you did. Because I got to see how low you'll go. I was afraid to talk to you when I wanted to, but now that I can, I dont want to." with that said, Sparkle and LizBeth got out of the pool, with Isaac following them.
"Hey you guys want a ride?" Isaac asked.
"No, thats okay. Were gonna walk, Thanks." said Sparkle.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, here, this is my #. If you call, and Im not there, I'll most likely be at Sparkles." LizBeth responded.
"Cool. I'll call you soon." Isaac said.
"Cool, well, thanks for today, I had a great time" LizBeth said, giving Isaac a hug.
"Anytime. See ya!"
"Bye, thanks Ike." Sparkle said as the two girls headed out the door.
"Hey, you okay?" LizBeth asked Sparkle.
"Yeah, I'm just tired." Sparkle said knowing she wasnt okay and not just tired. She just wanted to go home and rest. But little did she know that when she got home, that would be the last thing she'd do.
Meanwhile, back at the Hanson's house Isaac was talking to both Tay and Zac about their stupid attitudes in front of Sparkle.
"How could you guys? That was just so pathetic." Isaac said annoyed.
"Dont look at me! Look at Zac. Hes the one who started it!" Tay yelled rolling his eyes at Zac.
"Well, do you have anything to explain?" Isaac said looking down at Zac.
"Look, I went off on Taylor because he knew very well that I wanted to ask out Sparkle. Then right in front of my face hes like all over her. Then everytime Tay saw me talking alone with Sparkle he would come between us. On purpose!"
"Yeah but you never got the fuckin guts to ask her out! Im sorry but I like her too! and I dont care if you like it or not. You need to get over it." With that Taylor walked away.
"Wow. After all this time Zac. You finally are interested in a girl."Isaac said sitting next to Zac and smiling.
"Yeah I know. The only bad thing is, is that Taylor likes her too. You know very well that once Taylor has his eyes set on a girl, that girl is his." Zac said in a sad voice.
"Zac, theres nothing bad about this situation. Its just that you need to do what you want to do right now, and not wait around. Do it now Zac. Dont wait no longer." Isaac stood up and walked inside. Zac just looked at the ground. He closed his eyes. He imagined Sparkle and himself together. Forever. When he opened his eyes and closed them again a small tear came down his left cheek. He them smiled and went inside.
