Squall
is a teenager of very little expression and also has feeling for Rinoa Heartily, a group member he meets. His love for her increases as the game continues. He is
very quiet and somewhat solitary, but his
devotion and ambition have brought him to the
doorstep of Garden, the training ground for SeeD
members. Carrying a gunblade, a gun on top with
the blade of a sword, Squall is focused on
graduating from the Garden and later persuing a
career in SeeD.
