IWF Hall of Fame -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Triple H Triple H was one of the FIRST WRESTLERS ON THE IWF ROSTER...AND ON APRIL 6th, 2000...Triple H became our first IWF Champion. Pay Per View after Pay Per View..Triple H was faced with a new challenge every event..but more often than not....ended up on top. In his time in the IWF after the IWF's opening..Triple H won the IWF Title for the 5TH TIME! He held the record for the MOST IWF TITLE REIGNS IN OUR HISTORY..and IT IS A RECORD STILL NOT UNBEATEN TODAY. Triple H has had 5 IWF Title Reigns, 3 IWF Tag Team Title Reigns, One Intercontinental Title Reign and One IWF European Title reign. He also won the IWF's first ever Royal Rumble when he stepped in the ring with 69 other participants..and won the match along with Stone Cold Steve Austin. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Rock The Rock was also one of the first IWF Superstars. He fell short in the IWF Title tournament..but went on to not only become the IWF's first Intercontinental Champion..but he also held the IWF Tag Team Titles with Icon Partner..Triple H for some of the longest reigns in IWF History. The Rock teamed up with Triple H for 3 IWF Tag Team Title reigns. While having success in the tag ranks...The Rock also was a threat in the singles ranks..when in September of 2000..The Rock beat Tag Team Partner...Triple H in one of the best matches in IWF History to become the IWF Champion for the first time. Along with that 1 time IWF Title reign and 3 time IWF Tag Team Title reigns...The Rock also was a 3 Time IWF Intercontinental Champion and 1 Time IWF European Champion. With all of that under his belt..he has easily become a legend in the IWF that will never be forgotten. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stone Cold Steve Austin Stone Cold Steve Austin was also one of the first wrestlers on the IWF Roster..but Austin did not climb up the ranks as fast as the others. Stone Cold Steve Austin started off as the first ever IWF European Champion..but he was never considered to be up to that main event status just yet. Austin dominating the European Title Ranks early on..became a 2 Time IWF European champion. However..from there...Austin wanted to move up the ranks..and expand his horizons. Austin also won the IWF Hardcore title on one occasion. However..the time when he really made an impact on the federation would not come until October of 2000 for IWF Nightmare when he brought in 3 new talents and carried them to beat 9 other teams in the first ever Thrive to Survive Main Event. This brought 2 IWF 8 Man Tag Team Title Reigns under his belt..but after that...Austin felt that he was ready for the big time. He challenged the IWF Champion..and Austin got his wish on Christmas Eve of 2000..at IWF Santa's Rampage against the IWF Champion..Triple H..and rival..The Rock in a triple threat match. Stone Cold came into the match the underdog..but in the end...Austin came out with the IWF Champion in possibly one of the greatest matches of all time. Even though Austin lost the belt..3 days later...Austin had just made that transition from Middle Carder to Main Eventer. Austin went on to become a Co-Winner of the Royal Rumble in January....and in early march...Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated IWF Champion..Mr. Showtime to begin his second reign as Champ. Austin would go on to Wrestlemania where he successfully defended his belt against 9 other opponents. After losing the belt soon after....the world NOW KNEW THE NAME..OF STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Booker T Booker T was a wrestler that did not have everything handed to him..Booker T was a man that came from the gutter entering the federation in July of 2000. Booker T had nothing going for him..nothing handed to him. Booker T had to go out and get it. Leading successful stables such as The Ca$h Money Millionare$, Hell's Kitchen and The Harlem Heat...Booker T was always considered a leader in the IWF. Booker T's career highlights is becoming a 2 time IWF Intercontinental Champion and one time IWF Hardcore Tag Team Champion..but the true reign of greatness didnt come until just a few days after IWF Nightmare at the end of october..when Booker T defeated IWF Champion...The Rock to become the NEW IWF CHAMPION! Booker had gotten what he had strived for...and even though losing the belt to Triple H at IWF Survivor Series in November...Booker's title reign was memorable..and it brought him over the top. Booker would be an instant Main Eventer from there..until Booker unfortnuately parted ways with the company in early April of 2001. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Mota Boy The Mota Boy came in as a second generation superstar in June of 2000. Mota was one of the smaller wrestlers in the federation being 6 foot 3 and only 180 pounds...The Mota Boy was an underdog against most of his opponents. From managers Bobby The Brain Heenan to Mr. Perfect..both helped the Mota Boy in every way they can for him to become an instant success in the IWF. And just a month after his arrival...The Mota Boy became IWF Champion for the first time..by giving champion..Triple H..his first loss EVER at IWF Armagedon in July of 2000. The Mota Boy lost the belt back a month later to Triple H..but The Mota Boy would soon regain the title in March of 2001 when he beat Stone Cold Steve Austin. By now..Mota had came a long way despite gaining 40 pounds. The now..220 Pounder highlights his IWF career with 2 IWF Title Reigns, 1 Intercontinental Title Reign and 3 time IWF Lightweight title reigns. The Mota Boy brought in a new era for all of the underdogs out there...and opened new doors for not only them..but everybody else that came after him. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- X Caliber X Caliber has been with the federation since June of 2000. Since then...X Caliber has ran with such stables as The Icons, Dead Man Inc, The Unholy Dream Team and more. During his time in the federation..X Caliber did it all. He won the IWF Title, Intercontinental Title, European Title, Hardcore Title, Mixed Tag Team Titles and the Tag Team Titles. X Caliber even created his own title down the road..the IWF Australian Title which is now Retired and out of the IWF..but the spirit of X Caliber in the IWF lives on....and X Caliber will not only be remembered for all of his accomplishments in the federation..but he will also be remembered for his loyalty towards the federation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chicken Boy Chicken Boy lives on to be probably one of the most bizzare IWF Superstars in our history..but thats what made him so special. Leading his stable...Chicken Coop....Chicken Boy was a true leader..who always stayed true to himself. He had success in the Hardcore Ranks gaining gold in the Hardcore and Hardcore Tag Team Divisions. Chicken Boy also had success in the Lightweight Division....and 8 Man Tag Team Division that are now both done with..and retired along with the character of Chicken Boy. Chicken Boy's creativity opened doors for new superstars who looked for that in their character. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Big Hurt The Big Hurt came into the fed with a past with the owner..The Iceman aka John Mchugh. The Big Hurt was a big man who dominated the federation since his existence in it. Going with a strong 3 Month Undefeated streak...The Big Hurt instantly made a name for himself. However...he always fell short of major gold when it came time for it. He had success in the European Title Division..but that was about as far as The Big Hurt would go. The Big Hurt's few months in the federation instantly earned him the status of a Major Player. He intimidated all that stepped in the ring with him..and he even won the Most Feared Man of 2000 award. However..the storyline that changed the way we looked at him forever was when he had everybody convinced that he was the Real Boss..even John Mchugh himself. With the help of Chicken Boy..and JJ The Real Deal..they succeeded in pulling one over on the Iceman. The Big Hurt even went as far as Plastic Surgery to hide his true identity! The Big Hurt is no longer wrestling but acted as a color commentator in the IWF's final years. . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RuffRyder What can i say about RuffRyder? This is a superstar i always had a soft spot for. He improved his game so much in the time that he was with the IWF. This carried RuffRyder to three IWF Titles. RuffRyder also had success as a 1 Time IWF Intercontinental Champion and a 1 Time Co-IWF Tag Team Champion with Refugee. RuffRyder was the leader of the stable..The Sporty Thieves..the cool and collected group that knew how to piss everyone off.(LOL) But Regardless of that...RuffRyder and The Sporty Thieves always stayed as Heavy Fan Favorites. Ruff has been on and off in the federation quite a few times...so i wouldnt be surprised to see him again sometime in the future. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ace Ace will be considered a legend in this federation. He was accompinied by the lovely..Jenny Stone..and he teamed up with Mr. Showtime. Ace entered the IWF Scene in May of 2000...and stayed with The Icons ever since. He held the IWF Title Once, he is also a co-owner of the IWF Hardcore Tag Team Titles on two occassions, a 1 Time IWF Tag Team Champion and a 3 TIME IWF Hardcore Champion. Ace was always a man suited to main event a card...but Ace was always strong in the Hardcore Field. He is considered by many as the Best IWF Hardcore Champion of all time...and a Hardcore Legend. His career ended briefly with the federation in August of 2001 to do other things. Ace returned to the wrestling scene in August 2002 and remains with the promotion to this day. Ace will be considered a great, a legend and a Hardcore God in IWF History and was on the IWF's roster when it closed in 2003.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quack One of the first deranged superstars around the federation. Quack is a persona that shall never be forgotten around the federation. He was a hardcore mofo...holding his share of Hardcore Titles. The leader of the stable...The Freak Show...Quack was a classic middle carder/main eventer. Many of the IWF's future weirdos...were influenced by Quack. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- X-Pac X-Pac was a leader when it came to his career in the IWF. He led D-Generation X as the first stable to try and overturn..the Icons. Even though unsuccessful...X-Pac was the headman. X-Pac had his Hardcore, Hardcore Tag Team Titles and Lightweight Titles. X-Pac was also a member of the Harlem Heat....and The Icons on two occassions. X-Pac always tried to take charge...and that was what we remember most about him. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Freight Train The Freight Train always looked to be on top of the mountain. In the beginning of his career...Powerhouse and himself were recruited to join The Icons and that lasted a while. The Freight Train and Powerhouse formed a unit stronger than most in the IWF. They took the IWF by storm. The Freight Train is even a former IWF Champion in singles action. The Freight Train was a reckless machine that grew to form a friendship with Powerhouse...not by choice...but it just came natural. That's the way careers go sometimes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Matty Midget He will forever be known as the "Miracle" of the IWF as he only stood at three feet and seven inches tall. Entering the IWF around March of 2001, Matty Midget became a house-hold name in his year of destruction. Matty has always been known as a strong force in the IWF despite his small size but Matty's success really started to get noticed when Matty Midget defeated "The Game" Triple H for the IWF World Title. It was Matty's only IWF World Title Reign but Matty entered the history books as the shortest man to win the IWF World Title. Matty also made himself known with two Internet Titles Reigns and some classic battles with Powerhouse, Rage, The Archenemy and other prime time players. The Three Foot, Seven Inch Anarchist left the IWF only a year after his entrance, at IWF Cyberfest 2 on March 17, 2002. In Matty's year with the federation, he taught us alot....but the number one lesson that Matty let us know was that "SIZE DOES MATTER". Matty Midget was on the IWF's roster when it closed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Powerhouse/John Daniels Powerhouse made his entrance in the federation in February of the year 2001. Powerhouse was an instant success and continued on in the Icon Wrestling Federation as one of the most successful IWF Superstars of all-time. Powerhouse is a former "Icon" Champion, Six Time IWF World Champion, one time Internet Champion, one time Rising Star Champion, a One Time IWF Suicidal Champion, a two time IWF Tag Team Champion and he was even a One Time IWF Hardcore Tag Team Champion. Powerhouse was known as the master of the Total F**kin Madness Match in which Powerhouse excelled in. In January of 2002, after the commissionership job opened up, the Iceman gave Powerhouse the position as the new IWF Commissioner. Three months later in April of 2002, Powerhouse retired from the wrestling ring and continued on off the scenes with his job as the Commissioner of the Icon Wrestling Federation. However, on May 5th 2002, Powerhouse was pronounced dead. Powerhouse died in his home of a drug overdose. It was not long until we learned that this pronounciation was indeed false and that Powerhouse was still alive. Powerhouse a.k.a. John Daniels would go on to become one of the best IWF Superstars of all-time. John Daniels was on the IWF's roster when it closed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rage Rage originally entered the Icon Wrestling Federation in Late February 2001 wrestling as "The Game". After that, "The Game" made the transition to becoming RAGE. Rage is known for his Three IWF Title Reigns, TWO IWF Tag Team Title Reigns, Three IWF Rising Star Title Reigns and One IWF Internet Title Reign. Rage has been known for his on-going battles with Powerhouse. Rage has accomplished amazing feats such as beating Powerhouse Three Times for his only Three IWF World Title Reigns. Rage exited the Icon Wrestling Federation with Powerhouse in April of 2002. Rage has been called one of the best IWF Champions of all time.....and now Rage will finally be honored with a Hall of Fame Honor. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Miss Phoenix Miss Phoenix entered the federation in Late March of 2001. In her time in the federation, she has been known as possibly the greatest IWF Diva of all-time. The sexy, Red-Head underwent two marriages in her time with the federation being married to Karl Von Rader aka Pure Hell and Travis Cage aka Rage. Miss Phoenix's IWF Career was a soap opera to say the least. The thing that made Miss Phoenix so great was that she was able to dominate both the Women's Division and the Women's Tag Team Title Division. Miss Phoenix is the only person in IWF History to win both the IWF World Title and the IWF Women's Title. Even though Phoenix only has one IWF Title Reign to her credit, she also has two Women's Title Reigns, one IWF Tag Team Title Reign three IWF Rising Star Title Reigns and even one Suicidal title reign! Miss Phoenix retired from the IWF Ring in February of 2002 as the only woman to hold THREE TITLES AT ONCE IN IWF HISTORY! At one time, Miss Phoenix held the IWF World Title, the IWF Women's Title and a half of the IWF Tag Team Titles all at the same time! Miss Phoenix will be considered a great in the minds of many....by both the MEN AND WOMEN OF THE ICON WRESTLING FEDERATION. Miss Phoenix returned to the IWF in 2003 and was on the IWF Roster when it closed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rafy Guerrero(*OOC*) Rafy Guerrero is the IWF's first ever Out of Character Inductee to the IWF Hall of Fame. He started in the IWF in July of the year 2000 as the handler of Booker T. He was the kind of Member that was Loyal and was always improving his game. He saw many different title shots come his way with the multiple characters that he has handled. Rafy Guerrero was forced to take a break from the federation in April of the year 2001 but before the summer came to a close, Rafy Guerrero found his way back into the Icon Wrestling Federation in August 2001 as Pimp X. Booker T, Bill Goldberg, Jersey's Finest and Pimp X were some of the characters among many others that Rafy Guerrero has handled and saw success with. In September of the year 2001, the previous vice president, X-Caliber was no longer in office and Rafy Guerrero was felt to be the most qualified person for the job. For nearly a year, Rafy Guerrero has been serving the IWF as the Vice President. He has been serving the IWF as a handler for even longer. Rafy Guerrero has contributed so much to this e-fed and though he is now only a handler again, I feel that he should be honored with this Hall of Fame spot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joe Johnson Joe Johnson was acquired in July of the year 2002. Johnson was already a well-known superstar on the wrestling scene and he quickly rose to super-stardom in his time with the IWF. Though his run with the IWF was a quick one, Joe Johnson has two IWF World title wins and a Suicidal title reign to his credit and he will go down in history in everybody's mind as one of the most feared superstars in the business. Joe Johnson was on the IWF's roster when it closed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaise Martelle Blaise Martelle instantly bursted onto the scene in June 2002. Blaise Martelle made waves in the IWF's womens division and was soon being compared to another IWF Diva and Hall of Famer, Miss Phoenix. Before we knew it, Blaise Martelle created her own legacy winning titles in both the women's division AND the men's division. Blaise Martelle has one IWF World Championship, one Internet Championship, two tag team championships and three women's title runs to her credit. Blaise Martelle would go on to become one of the biggest stars that the IWF has ever seen. In March 2003, Blaise would be appointed into the "Queen Advisor" staff position. Soon afterward, Blaise was promoted up to the IWF's Commissioner. Blaise Martelle resigned from the position in July 2003. Blaise Martelle returned a few months later and was on the IWF's roster for it's final days. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marco "The Virus" bursted onto the scene for the IWF in August 2001 debuting in a IWF World Title Tournament. Though Marco would be unsuccessful in his quest for the IWF World Championship, Marco has plenty of things to be proud of. Marco had his first taste of IWF gold in October 2001 when he won the title that is now known as the IWF Rising Star Championship. Marco has also won one International Championship, two Rising Star Championships and one Tag Team Championship. Marco has always known what it meant to be a team player being involved in two Thrive to Survive matches and being involved with numerous stables over his career such as Natural Born Ratings, the Unholy Trinity and The Icons. Marco's first run with the IWF lasted from August 2001 until April 2002 when Marco jumped ship to the IWF's rival federation, the EWCL. Two months later, Marco would come back to the IWF and stay with them until the fed's demise. Marco was on the IWF's talent roster when it closed. . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chazz Mendel When you think of wrestling's success stories, one of the first names that has to come to mind for IWF fans is Chazz Mendel. Chazz Mendel debuted with the Icon Wrestling Federation in August 2002. Chazz did not become a superstar over-night but he worked hard in the beginning of his IWF career to sharpen his skills and perfect his wrestling style. Only a month into his career, Chazz Mendel had his first taste of IWF gold when he won the IWF Rising Star Championship belt. Just as Chazz was beginning to peak, his career would be halted in December 2002 when Chazz Mendel left the federation and jumped ship over to the EWCL. In May 2003, Chazz Mendel picked up directly where he left off when he came back to the IWF and shocked the world when he won the IWF World Championship belt his first match back in the ring. Chazz Mendel managed to hold onto that World Title all the way through until the IWF's closure. Over the course of Chazz Mendel's IWF career, he has won one Tag Team Championship, one Rising Star Championship, one World Championship and one "Icon" Championship. Chazz Mendel also has two wins in the classic Thrive to Survive match to his credit and he has been a member of the Dark Star Dragons and the Lost Souls stables. Chazz Mendel won a match as the IWF World Champion in August 2003 against the IWF "Icon" Champion, RPG to combine the two titles together to form the IWF World Heavyweight Championship. Chazz Mendel was the only man who had the honor of holding the undisputed championship belt. Chazz Mendel was on the IWF's talent roster when it closed as the LAST EVER IWF WORLD CHAMPION. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SyN SyN was the definition of "hardcore" throughout his IWF career. When SyN debuted in the IWF in June 2002, he made the message clear that his primary target was the IWF's Suicidal Championship belt. SyN brought in an extreme style that very few people had ever seen before and SyN would end up taking the Suicidal division to a whole new level re-defining the ordinary's fan entire outlook of the division. SyN would go on to have one Tag Team Championship reign and two Suicidal Championship reigns with the IWF. SyN also has two wins to his credit in the Thrive to Survive match. When SyN's wrestling career was jeopardized in 2003 by a series of nagging injuries, SyN was appointed as the IWF's Commissioner. SyN would go down with the Icon Wrestling Federation as it's final commissioner as well as member of the IWF's final roster. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. Rich If you look back through the history books, you'll see that though Mr. Rich has never won an IWF World Championship, there are not many people that can say that they have done the things that Mr. Rich has. Mr. Rich was one of the IWF's longest lasting veterans.......and some even go as far as to say he was one of the best to never hold the World Championship. Having past history with several of the IWF superstars, Mr. Rich was able to fit right into the "IWF" mold when he debuted in March 2001. Mr. Rich has competed in two Thrive to Survive matches, two out of the three Cyberfest Pay Per Views and he is the only man in IWF history to compete in all three Mick Foley Memorial matches. To his credit, Mr. Rich holds one International Title reign, three Rising Star title reigns, two Suicidal title reigns, three tag team title reigns and even though it's not in the books, Mr. Rich is the only man to ever compete in a Women's Championship match! Mr. Rich has gone through it all in the IWF which is why it is appropriate to call him an IWF "Legend" and Hall of Famer. Mr. Rich went down with the Icon Wrestling Federation as one of the final members of the IWF roster when it closed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pure Hell Some call him greedy, some call him crazy and some call him extreme. When it comes down it, the only term that can sum it all up for Karl Von Rader is "Pure Hell". In February 2001, Pure Hell blasted onto the IWF scene and took the promotion by storm. Throughout his time with the Icon Wrestling Federation, he has done so many things to distinguish him from the rest. Pure Hell was a three time IWF World Champion, one time International Champion, three time Suicidal Champion, four time Tag Team Champion and a one time Hardcore Tag Team Champion. Pure Hell's charades with Team SWW, the Unholy Trinity, Miss Phoenix, Mr. Rich, Haze, Ian Moore and others throughout the IWF's history have branded Pure Hell as one of the most controversial superstars in the IWF's history. Pure Hell has performed some of the most insane stunts that we have ever seen performed from any man.......he is a man that truly put it all on the line every single night. This is why he is called a "Hardcore God". As much debate as there is on who the true "Hardcore God" is, there will be many fans that will tell you that there is only one real God of Hardcore and that is Pure Hell. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jason Drake Jason Drake is and probably always will be identified by IWF fans as one of the best all-around athletes that the IWF has ever seen. Whether it be tackling the job as the IWF's last ever Presidential Advisor......or it be in the ring, the master of the "25th Hour" and the "Genesis" knew how to do his job well. In February 2003, there was alot of hype surrounding the newcomer, Jason Drake and there was alot of speculation on how he would do competeing against the superstars of the IWF. Jason Drake went on to produce one of the best win-loss records of his time winning alot of big matches. Jason Drake notably has one "Icon" Championship reign and two International championship reign to his credit. After being forced into early retirement only a few months into his IWF career, Jason Drake returned to the ring in October 2003 to finish off his IWF career as one of the last members of the IWF roster. Anyone who has truly seen Jason Drake at his full potential will tell you that there will never be another like him. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RPG The start of RPG's IWF career dates back to January 2003. The IWF was in great need of new superstars that could carry on the IWF's reputation as one of the strongest promotions in professional wrestling and RPG came at the right time. Only weeks into his IWF career, RPG won 2003's Free for All Battle Royal to become the IWF "Icon" Champion. This would be the beginning of a great career in the IWF for RPG. RPG was the only man in IWF history to ever hold the IWF "Icon" Championship twice. On top of that, he is also a former Tag Team Champion. RPG also has competed in the Main Event of IWF Cyberfest III, the six man Mega-Match at Egghunt 2003 and the "Icon" Title versus World Title unficiation matchup at IWF Too Hott for TV 2003. Some missed time throughout the year possibly limited us from seeing the extent of RPG's abilities inside the ring but when push comes to shove, RPG matches up with some of the best that the IWF has ever had. The IWF fans saw him last in August 2003....but hopefully one day, we may see RPG again competeing under the new, PWR banner. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Freak Daddy Freak Daddy's success is one that did not come naturally for the big Pennsylvania native. Freak Daddy debuted with the IWF first in April 2001 and in his first few matches, he was only able to show a glimpse of what he was capable of due to commitments that he had elsewhere. It was not until his return in January 2002 that the extent of Freak Daddy's abilities really began to be revealed. Despite defeating some of the IWF's elite superstars, Freak Daddy's most notable accomplishment was probably his victory in the 2002 Ringmaster Tournament to win him the IWF "Icon" Championship. Besides his one "Icon" Championship reign, Freak Daddy also has one IWF World Championship, one Rising Star Championship and two Suicidal Championships to his credit. Freak Daddy has always had a mysterious and controversial image to him but this truly came to light after Freak Daddy made his second return to the ring in 2003 after faking his own death. June 2003 would be the last that we saw of the man known as Freak Daddy in the IWF. Not much is known of Freak Daddy's whereabouts today.....but with Freak Daddy's unpredictable nature, it's possible that we may see Freak Daddy competeing in the ring again one day. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
