They're back!!! New release for the Target Toy Sale the Baby Corners 25cm (10") and 43cm (17") as well as a new "twin" packages.

Below are the new EVEN BIGGER THAN BEFORE 43cm (17") versions. You will notice that the faces are different, not only from the original version of this size, but the hair and "theme" have changed. There IS not theme any more and no accessories!!

The 25cm (10") dolls are essentially the same as far as I can tell. You can see the new "Baby Corner" packaging is more compact, but the photos on the back are the same as for the original LTL and BC boxes. As yet I have not seen AA or Asian version. Maybe they will be here soon?? I will keep looking!! They also come with TWO outfits!!

Target Australia seem to have deleted the entire range of the Baby Corner First Steps. K-Mart are the only chain selling the Lots to Love Baby Steps (and have had a price reduction - hopefully not a sign of deletions - fingers crossed). Also since seen at Myer.

This scan is from the Myer Toy Sale, September 2004. The are only carrying the 25cm version at this time.

You will notice that the outside packaging is a different colour - boxed as "Lots to Love" Baby Steps - but the internal card and accessories are identical to the Target ones, as are the names of the dolls. The pics on the back are also the same.

This is a scan of the Baby First Steps by Berenguer in the Target Catalogue July 2004. In Australia they are boxed as "Target Baby Corner", but carry the Dolls by Berenguer Logo on the front.

I have also found these Berenguer cuties, also branded Baby Corner from Target (Australia). They are only 13cm tall, but have all the traits of the larger dolls. There are only the 3 face types, and all are bald, but the variety in clothes is amazing - everything from rompers to nappies, to dresses.
