Dana's Page of Doll Stuff

Doll collecting is not something I planned to do. Most of the toys and dolls I have are worth very little except for some sentimental value. I show them here in the hope that someone can give me a little insight into the dolls that remain nameless. I am curious to know what these darlings were sold as, and what they came with. I hope the information I have written is accurate, and any discrepancy can be emailed to me here.

I have this weakness for a cute face... If I'm in an Op Shop and I see a cutie through the pile of dolls, that's it - its mine. I can't help myself!! Its an addiction!!! As most are naked, I hope to find the time to redress them, and find them new homes. I also love unusual dolls.

CPK's have a strange place in my heart. When they were first issued in 1983, I was 8years old. I NEVER wanted one!! They were ugly and had shadow "fangs" and I couldn't believe the hype. Now that I'm older, I can see the cuteness and the value of these dolls, although I prefer to rescue them, rather than buy them MIB. I think it gives them a little bit of life story, some history, knowing that  they were once loved by a child.

I hope you enjoy looking at my collection.

Some are available for sale. These will be noted with the individual doll.
