Subtom is the second level boss of R-TYPES (R-TYPE 2). Also featured in Super R-TYPE called Zabtom, this creature is the reincarnation of 'Dobkeratops' the first level guardian of R-TYPE. |

Subtom is quite a difficult guardian to destroy as he fires huge lazers from his chest and has many weapons in his arsenal (I'm just hazarding a guess that this thing is male). Also if you survive a little while he does the dodgy 'boiled-egg thing' and attempts to crush you! |
