The bydo-R-types are encountered on the sixth contact level of R-TYPE Delta. They are R-series ships that have been taken by the dark bydo parasites. The pilots try to prevent this in any ay possible but the bydo are too strong a host. |

Near the end of the level you must do battle with three such bydo-infested ships that have gone haywire. This fight above the R-TYPE headquarters is an easy battle however. |
