GOMANDER |

Gomander was the second boss fought in R-TYPE, and is quite memorable. Large worms passed through it and shot at the R9 while Gomander's eye opened every once in a while. |

Gomander in R-TYPE DELTA was encountered in the submerged and eeiry level 'Fifth contact: Evil' but is eventually destroyed by a Bydo battleship. Gomander has been featured in all the R-TYPE games save R-TYPE 2, Super R-TYPE and Leo (which I don't really rate as part of the series). |
