News 17/08/2002 NUCODE take trip to V2002.... We have just got back from V2002 in Chelmsford. It was a superb festival and a really good weekend. After a well deserved week in Rhodes Chris B (drums) and Chis J (bass) are back from Rhodes along with Ray Gherkin (Matt)Hope everyone saw our message from Rhodes on the guestbook. We have rebooked the Reigate social club gig for another date after the cancelation for August. The gig will be hopefully later this month (July) or September. A drought of new material has led to a new song. This came after a recording session for the new demo CD. The song is still untitled and was written by Sam and Chris B. We have worked hard on it so far and is coming together well. It will hopefully ready for the next gig so you can hear what we have been up to. 11/06/2002 "Let It Ride" and "Without You" demo tracks are complete.... After long nights of work Nucode have finished two tracks from the Demo CD. The tracks are "Let It Ride" and "Without You". During the recording a new track was written by Sam and Chris B. 06/06/2002 Nucode start work on the first demo CD.... We have just started the recording of our first demo CD. We are recording at Chris Bs house using a Logic Audio system on computer. It will be a four or five track demo EP. Track Listing is: 1.Better Level, 2.Let It Ride, 3.Missing, 4.Run No More, 5.Without You and it will maybe include an acoustic track. The demo should hopefully be finished by 3rd July so fingers crossed. We will keep you informed with our progress and completion date. 06/06/2002 GuestBook ready to sign.... A few more venues and possible gig dates are appearing rapidly, such as... Kings Arms (Dorking), Black Horse (Horley), Blue Anchor (Reigate), Greyhound (Redhill) and The Mill House (Salfords) We are hoping to play most of these venues before the end of the summer. We will keep you up to date with any news of dates and venues. 01/06/2002 Nucode confirmed to play Reigate Social Club for summer gig.... We have confirmed to play The Reigate Social Club in the summer, It was originaly booked for August 17th but due to Chris B and Sam at V2002 this was not possible. The gig will be rearranged for an earlier date. The stage is huge, cheap club price beer, full stage lighting and a little idea of having an original Lambretta & Vespa on the stage, we will keep you informed of details and the new date..Cheers 24/05/2002 Nucode play blinding gig at Half Moon.... We played the Half moon in Charlwood to a lot of friends and family. The gig went really well apart from not getting payed as much as we were promised. Everyone performed well in a small intimate environment. After 3 encores and 2 requested by the manager we were tired but over the moon at how well it went. Thanks to everyone who came to the gig and thanks for supporting us. photos 25/04/2002 New material in progress We are working on new material at the moment. All members are writing and we will hopefully come out with some exiting stuff! 23/03/2002 Nucode to play Half Moon in Charlwood.... We are to be playing the Half Moon pub in Charlwood near Gatwick on 24th May 2002. It came after watching the Mutts Nutts play a blindin gig there. It is a very small pub and estimated amount of people is over 50 now. Keep checking news for directions and other info on this gig. We are dead exited and are finally going to get pai to do the thing we love!!!!! 23/03/2002 Chris B has hair cut! Chris Bailey (Drums) has finally after about 20 years had his hair cut!!! The bum head pretty boy curtain look has gone forever or so he says but I am sure we will be seeing it grow back soon. (NEVER!! (CB) 13/03/2002 Nucode to play Brockham Rugby Club for summer gig We have been offered to play an 18th birthday party at Brockham Rugby Club on the 16th August 2002. We are really looking forward to this one as we are to be playing in front of a crowd of approx 90 people. We hope to see lots of people we know there. So we will keep you informed about the gig, 07/03/2002 Nucode plan series of gigs in local area At the moment we are on a mission to secure a few gigs around the local area. Venues are hopefully to include Brockham Rugby Club, Reigate Ex Service club and Salfords hall. We will keep everyone posted about where and when these will be played if at all. 02/03/2002 Nucode play first gig at Westmill Farm We played our first gig at Westmill Farm in Ware (Hertfordshire). It was a blinding first gig after the initial nerves but after playing 3 hours instead of 1 and half due to demand, we were well settled and enjoyed it. There was lots of incouraging feedback and was generally a good night. Cheers for everyone who came especially Matt, Michelle, Ben B, Emma amd Petra.
