Once we are down on three, front end is attached and the basic framework is in place, its time to begin to build the Trike the way you want it to look. First off I needed to add the down tubes to brace the front end. I've also added my seat frame and I've also defined a framework for floor boards. There will be some additional gussets added for strength as well as some additional sticks added to the floorboard to add strength to that as well as to tie it all together. From this point on, its my project, built the way I want my Trike to look. You may not like my way. As we continue with my project I will attempt to show how I built my first pedals plus some other tips that you might find helpful if you decide to build a VW Trike. I will leave out several photos of little things that I did along the way. These photos only show the progress I made in the way I built mine. You will probably have other ideas for your project and my pics won't help you much. Also, I need to save space to show a few photos of the changes I made to my front end after about 6 months of riding my Trike with the standard motorcycle front end.
