<---------This would be me.
The reason that I am an atheist is simply because I like to go against the crowd, and also because I was brought up to a Christian and while studying this in a class I found out that the Christian religion is nothing more than a lot of a lot of contradictions. And if you look at Christianity, Judaism, and the Islamic religions, in each one's 'bible' they talk about a great flood and a god that leads the survivors to safety. Do you not see, how this is just one story that was told by a traveling story-teller that finally was written down, and now many different versions of the same story are out there and people made them into religions. Have you ever played telephone (where someone whispers something into your ear and you pass it on until it gets back to the original person)? Have you ever noticed how rarely is it ever the same? The same thing is what happened to a story that someone once made up and eventually turned in the religions of today.
