Atheism is a complicated believe in no gods or God, what so ever. Many people say that Atheism is not true because it contradicts itself, but how can it if the believers do not have a god and do not believe that there is such a thing? Can you answer this? You see people think that Atheism is the act of not believing anything, but the real definition is "characterized by an absence of belief in the existence of gods" (The Atheism Web).
Hello, my name is Richard Svensson and I am an Atheist. I have decided to do my final project in this class over Atheism, simply because people say it is something else than it really is, and also because that is what I am. The viewpoints on this site are not necessarily mine, but are other people's and mine together.
There are different sects in the Atheism believe. If you are an Atheist you are either a 'weak' atheist or a 'strong' atheist. A weak atheist is simple skepticism; there is no God, and on the other hand, strong Atheism is an explicitly belief that God doesn't exist. Skepticism is "an attitude of doubt or a disposition to incredulity either in general or toward a particular object" (Merriam-Webster Online), and explicitly is "a : fully revealed or expressed without vagueness, implication, or ambiguity : leaving no question as to meaning or intent <explicit instructions> b : open in the depiction of nudity or sexuality <explicit books and films>" (Merriam-Webster Online).
