Jonas was thoroughly confused as to why things were playing out as they were. The petty squabbling on his home planet was nothing compared to this. He could not understand why these rogue NID agents wanted the release of the Goa’uld and Colonel Simmons. He had read all the mission reports. He knew who they were and what they had done; but that did not explain why an organisation who professed to serve their country and want to protect it, would want to ally themselves with, and protect the very enemy that would destroy their world without a second thought.
