The Dreadnaught:
ship ID
number: CNV 301
Name: Dreadnaught
look at
the detailed pictures below:
The Bridge-the
command center for the ship, contained in the command module-may
detatch in the event of an emergency:

The Ship,
taken apart into the four main sections; the command center, the
accomodation modules (2), and the main hull:

The four
workstations to be used by the command crew, or the player:
CMD (CoMmanD)-the
captain's workstation, it shows the basics of all the info seen
by the other workstations:

NAV (NAVigation)-the
pilot's (or helmsman's) workstation, gives the pilot a clear line
of sight out the front of the command section:

WEP (WEaPons)-the
weapons control commander uses this workstation to gain more precise
control over the ship's weapons systems:

ENG (ENGineering)-the
chief engineer's workstation, designed with a complete overview
of the ship's systems, so the chief engineer may
more easily oversee the general statistics of damage to each particular
system, and communicate with the engineers as to where to go and
what to fix. The chief engineer is able to prioritize the systems
the captain needs most, right away, in order to ensure their immediate
repair:

The whole
ship:

The command
section-houses the bridge:

The front
section-Engineering crawlspace and fuel tanks:

The Collider
ring, provides a constant energy supply of about 1.2GW

The crew
accomodation module-2 are included with the ship, though one or
both may be replaced by other types of sections:

Universal
Docking Collar-uses magnets to clamp onto other ships' hulls, and
can even dock with a broken airlock:

The PBC
(Particle Beam Cannon)-this device siphons plasma directly from
the collider ring, and shoots it out in super-charged, high-power,
precise beams. This weapon works best at close range:

Missle Magazine-houses
the missles, which may be designed to suit any purpose:

The engine-room,
which is usually too hot for humans to enter, houses the engine
and the Waste Heat Array. The other piece houses the propulsion
system and the directional shroud, which helps to prevent side-slip,
recycles some exhaust particles, and helps to reduce the heat signature
of the engine:
