Assembled below for your listening and viewing pleasure are a mix of some radio classics and more obscure tracks, we've also included some documentaries related to music,...#24 is a documentary about a famous musician framed for a murder he did not commit, and we've added the unexpected as well such as Moonriver's channel of country music as sung by Japanese artists,.....futuristic pop sounds of brother and sister Kim and Ricki Wilde, ( 50s rocker Marty Wilde is their father, who was also active in the 70s writing and producing some key glam tracks of the day ).....to a few lps like Witch, rock music from the country of Zambia sung in english with a unique Rolling Stones influence, to a unique new wave band from the late 70s called Here and Now.....
Previously the page was updated after over 5 weeks of inactivity, we've added more of the unexpected.......documentaries of birds kept as prisoners, another musical documentary from '77, # 42 below....the Dum cover of 'in the mood is actually Mud incognito doing a super charged cover of this oldie,....a few obscure lps were added below, at first listen they sound like they might go nowhere, but for example the Highway record is a solid lp of classic rock well played throughout, the lp Top Drawer also is a strong lp played by an obscure band of the late 60s, and Yellow Dog features at least 2 members of Fox after they broke up without Noosha, an we also included one of her solo efforts :) Another lp we added with spiritual overtones is from spul veteran Eugene Booker McDaniels called- Headless Heroes of the Apocalypse, also added 2 downloads from Vietnamese rock band - CBC who had to flee Vietnam i. '75
Also added a trailer for the sci fi classic Soylent Green as well as the film thr Boy in the Plastic Bubble, many of you are thinking that you know those films well as you saw them many yrs ago, well we are including them here because some who come here never saw them, as we feel they are applicable for our current climate in the world....

It occurred to this mgmt here passing birds in cages for sale on the street, imprisoned, not able to fly, kept and sold, People who buy and sell birds are caught up in a horrible situation, most are probably not conscious of,
and people who keep birds as in cages also are unaware of the harm they cause......some animal activists in the past used to open their cages to their freedom in pet stores an on the street,......when we were kids we used to visit some talking birds in our local pet store and teach them cuss words. The store owner thru us out several times because the birds would repeat these words to customers.... we think all birds should be let free right Now....however there are some pet owners who keep them around but have a space or doorway for them to exit anytime an love and treat them well,so thats ok,

Jailbird.....this term comes to mind, it originated centuries ago when people were placed in giant cages suspended off the ground much like bird owners and sellers do today.
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings......this sentence comes to mind, it was a famous book, and movie from 1979, ....what else can one do when imprisoned, the music the birds 🐦 sing brings joy to them, ( they could issue unused musical instruments to prisoners these days ) some old movie have a harmonica in the background playing in prisons, and slave labor camps.
Seems that this comparison birds to prisoners, kept in cages, restricting their freedom, goes back to ancient times, maybe because when one is freed from prison, it may be comparable to a bird taking flight, but these days too Many stories come forth about humans being released due to DNA testing and other evidence that proves their innocence after many yrs of being kept in a cage, seems there are underlying themes.here.....related. This is a real crime wherein hospitals discard people no one cares about on skid row, disoriented and into a place they are not familiar with, and with no money. Skid row is in some ways like any other place in the world. Mostly good, nice, everyday people,.....with a few bad ones somewhat out of view,lurking in corners.....so these people who sometimes have had their brains altered as they've been used as guinea pigs, others have been sedated and placed under experimental medications after supposedly winning a contest of some sorts in their town and they eventually wake up to an area full of strangers. With no money you would feel uncomfortable in most places, unless some things come freely correct ?
