we were experiencing some technical difficulty last month which resulted in losing the opening paragraph here which opened with the theme of - Freedom.........beginning this section with several bands, songs and videos which have the word or idea of Freedom expressed in the music, Blue Mink leads off with 'Melting Pot' and 'good morning freedom, in a soulful pop style, a band called Freedom in the early 70s featured 2 members of Procul Harem, we thought this lp of classic rock was pretty good so we added complete album,.....Freedom is also the name of a hardcore act from philly who play an engaging set here from few yrs back, the download is under Freedom [hate5/6]as thats the name of the YouTube channel that has some unique concerts......elsewhere is a freedom festival with people dancing to futuristic type trance music, and Aretha's 'freewy of love' is included here baecause of its energy as one finds more momentum and freedom on a freeway... there are a few more with the Vioces of East Harlem - right on be free, and a brand new one from mr. john batiste released in the spring of 2021 called Freedom, we'll expand next on the song 'melting pot',.....this one is a long list classic discussing an inevitable future wherein people of different racial backgrounds and cultures will begin to date, mate, and produce munchkin creatures, and where any and all racial lines will be blurred,.....and a report, a look into the future by some scientists who have recieved reports from the future of an ethnic group of people who no one can seem to tell their backgrounds called the Goobacks, that appeared to be taking peoples jobs......and most can recall Ritchie Havens leading off the biggest concert of all time Woodstock, with the acoustic "Freedom",

The principal word in the Vedas, praṇava oṁkāra, is the sound representation of the Supreme Lord. Therefore oṁkāra should be considered the supreme sound. However, Śaṅkarācārya has falsely preached that tat tvam asi are the supreme vibrations. Omkāra is the reservoir of all the energies of the Supreme Lord. Śaṅkara is wrong in maintaining that the words tat tvam asi are the supreme vibrations of the Vedas, for tat tvam asi are secondary words only. tat tvam asi suggests only a partial representation.
In Bhagavad-gītā the Lord has in many places given importance to oṁkāra, (Bg. 8.13, 9.17, 17.24). Similarly, oṁkāra is given importance in the Atharva Veda and the Māṇḍūkya Upaniṣad. In his Bhagavat-sandarbha, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī says: "Oṁkāra is the most confidential sound representation of the Supreme Lord." The sound representation or name of the Supreme Lord is as good as the Supreme Lord Himself. By vibrating the sound of oṁkāra, or of Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare, one can be delivered from the contamination of this material world. Because such vibrations of transcendental sound can deliver a conditioned soul, they are known as tāra, or deliverers. (More...) "When the transcendental sound vibration is practiced by a conditioned soul, the Supreme Lord is present on his tongue." In the Māṇḍūkya Upaniṣad it is said that when oṁkāra is chanted, whatever is seen as material is seen perfectly as spiritual.

There is an old analogy from the vedas, that Prabhupada used, he discusses how every one is on a different level in krsna conscious, as are those in other religions, everyone is a part of God, although a very small part of his being, so everyone has glimpses of truth now and then. The comparison of a glass of water is a good one here, while some can see through t he glass of water clearly, others can only see part of the way because their glasses of water are cloudy with dirt ( Maya, aka illusion ) so if you meet, and right away you both seem to be on much different wavelengths, do not hold it against him if his viewpoint seemsmuch different than yours, it could be he cannot understand you becausehe is looking through a cloudy perception......there, you are beginning to see more clearly now :)
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the most recent incarnation of Krsna. He appeared 500 years ago in Bengal and in the form of Krsna's devotee in the mood of Srimati Radharani. He left only 8 slokas (verses) of his instructions in writing, and they describe the glories of the Holy Names of the Lord and the mood one must have to chant and to be a devotee.
