This may be old but this is pretty new to me

http://www.rense.com/general40/secret.htm

Do you think that the us has something this powerful?
From: masterchief868 | Posted: 9/12/2004 10:08:15 AM | Message Detail
Hm...this is very interesting.....but I wouldn't doubt it, I mean the U.S. has one of the most powerful armies in the world. And the technology is just beyond me.

I highly doubt it.

I don't think something the size of a tank can liquefy a bus like an H-Bomb.

At least mobile like a tank, cause, H-Bombs are smaller(I think) No, wait...They would need a lot more space and energy to produce "fire and lightning" to liquefy a bus.

The "tank" like thing would have to reach billions of degrees to fire the "fire and lightning". Considering cold fusion is yet to be discovered "OR IS IT?" just kidding, cold fusion is impossible, but anything at that temperature could not be contained by any means the army could concoct. This is just a bunch of junk that some people are cooking up. Pun intended.

Tesla didn't make a death ray.

He made a device that vibrated extremely rapidly and people could feel it a couple of blocks away.

He made the coil named after him which conducted electricity through it.

But yeah... No "death rays".

Fake. The US is too consciensious of their world image to allow something like that to even be produced, let alone deployed. It violates at least 2 Geneva convention rules of war.

What the hell would they do that for? It would clearly be a fantastical waste of money. Why do they need that in space?

According to this story, that middle eastern infantryman is a professional engineer of many years, a master violinist who teaches at an academy, and has had a long military career. C'mon now..You're gonna have to be a little more convincing than that.

al-Ghazali explicitly describes seeing numerous human bodies shriveled to the size of newborn babies.

Which more or less proves that this Iraqi is making this story up. Besides, his description of how the bus deformed when acted upon by this supposed weapon is weak; either it would have uniformly melted the metal of the bus over a much longer period of time than "within seconds," or parts of the bus would have been completely melted away while others remained rigid for a time.

Additionally, you're talking about a weapon with a range that can't exceed a few tens of meters. How could such a device ever be useful for anything besides destroying obstacles or perhaps bunker walls, and why drop it on a tank chassis?

And why would you bother to field test the weapon capacity in an active fighting zone? It'd be much easier to just privately test it O_o That way, no way for stories to leak. This story is BS. :p

Its true that it reminds to that GDI tank in C&C:Tiberian Sun. Also, the real Tesla Coil (not the C&C series one) could produce gigantic sparks (serach for this in an enciclopedia, the number of meters i remember is too big ).
