actually one of the main reasons that people
can't use magic in front of nonmagical people is because it is
forbidion. In one place at one time there is always atleast two
people that can sense each other and it creates I kind of check and
balance system. If some one uses magic where everyone can see it
that knowledge is pasted down from "mage" to mage and basically a
cover up takes place where the people that saw it have their
memories taken away of seeing it and the person who casted the spell
is brought before a kind of court of mages to determine their
fate.
Magical people are allowed to talk about magic to
others because in this day and age no one is going to really beleive
you.

I haven't forgotten about this! I've just been
busy lately.
Magic:
Emily says that everyone excells
in a certain area of magic. There are four areas: Fire, Earth, Air,
and Water. She excelled at fire magic. She would have these weird
dreams all the time where she would be engulfed in flames and she
could feel the heat, and she would wake up all sweaty. She scared
her parents once, because she had her hand in a flame for like seven
seconds and she didn't even feel it. IN THE FLAME! Not slightly
above it, but in the flame.
You see, she is unaffected by fire,
and she can supposedly create fire. It's not like a flame from a
lighter, but it's a small spark, which as we all know, can cause a
blazing inferno. She can blow on a candle and light it, but I think
that one might be a trick of some sort. She also can make small
fires go out. (By small fire I mean like a match or lighter.)
She said that her name was Saggitaurious (<--I don't know if
that's spelled right.) She says it means fire or something to that
effect. She said she could see into the future in her dreams, but
not very far or clearly. Also, when she was involved in Wicca, she
could create mist. It was like a small cloud of it that formed a
circle around her. (By small cloud I mean her whole back yard, but
that's fairly small for a cloud.) |

RPG. Anyway, I don't think God would be too happy with her and she
might as well accept the fact that she is probably damned to Hell.
But God is careing and if she truly believes in Him, she MIGHT be
saved. |

Wicca is not related to Satan. There is a book
called Teen witch read it. However if what you say is true my old
friend Tina is evil yet her cult was called the charmed ones ( Does
not sound evil to me.).

Or there's no magic and she's just making up an

Saggitarius
is a zodiac sign. It does not mean
fire.

I remember the old topic now... that was cool.
Ask Emily if she can create music. That would be cool. Anyways, some
of the stuff you post is sorta interesting. You tend to post things
that aren't very realistic (RPG elements, stuff from the old topic),
but then redeem yourself in my eyes. So you're still cool =)

She could not have done a blinding spell on you,
in the Wiccan religion, a spell returns to you in a certain degree,
therefore she would have also been affected in a greater way than
you.
Same with fire. If she creates 1 square inch of fire,
she could possibly be burnt by a slightly greater amount of fire.
This is why Wiccan never use Majick to cause harm, because it would
do more harm unto them (unless, of course they were sadistic and
sadomasochistic).

RentACop have you even actually looked into
magic? You sound like someone who has made up their mind before they
even had all the facts. Though a great deal of magic is used by
invoking a higher power and that higher power pretty much has a say
over what you can and can't cast and when mind you. There are other
types of magic that are tapped from the person themself or the use
of runes these people are often part of a group that doesn't want to
be known.
The first rule in any group I've seen is to never
use magic in front of other people unless they were part of the
group. It is always ok to talk about magic as many people don't
believe in it and just think your crazy or something if you talk
about it.

Good to see all you guys from the old topic! I
feel kinda bad I left you all hanging for a while, but I didn't
realize there was so much interest.
Yeah, I know Fire,
Earth, Wind, and Water sounds like it's from an RPG, but I looked
into that actually and it turns out that those are indeed the four
magic types, ever since the middle ages. Check out a library or do a
Google search and you'll see what I mean.
Yes, she wasn't
supposed to be using magic in her Wiccan group, so she simply
"graduated" to the Satan-worshipping-one-whose-name-I-don't-know.
They don't care if you use magic for evil/selfish reasons
their.
Showing off magic is sorta like Martial Arts, I guess.
You aren't supposed to go around picking fights or trying to show
off, your only supposed to use it when you are protecting yourself
or other people.
Also, if you aren't willing to except that
magic is real, then it won't work. Remember, it's mostly a mental
thing, so if your mind (mental) doesn't believe it, then it won't
work. So, like in all things, have an open mind.

I propose a challenge to all Atheists/Agnostics.
Try a spell. You don't believe in God or Satan, so you won't
fear any consequences. Remember, you must go into this challenge
with an open mind. Don't think of any or your already concluded
opinions of magic. Just go into this expecting it will work and
really, really, really, believe that. The worst it could be is a
waste of time.
I don't know exactly where you will find out your
information on doing this, but I suggest going to the kids at school
who say it's real and talking to them about it. Anyone up to the
challenge? |
